Neighborhood

The neighborhood:
Keauhou is Kona with more breathing room. Ali'i Drive links this area with Kailua-Kona, but the immediate rhythm is shaped by the coast, golf, and Keauhou Bay. The bay is a useful stop for a swim or paddle, while Keauhou Shopping Center covers groceries, restaurants, and everyday needs. To the north, Kailua Pier and the historic waterfront offer a livelier outing. This pocket works well for guests who want south Kona access without staying in the middle of downtown activity.

Transit

Getting around:
Kona International Airport (KOA) is about 10 to 15 minutes from Kailua Kona. A rental car is recommended for exploring the Kona Coast, although downtown shops, restaurants, and oceanfront Alii Drive may be walkable or a short drive away. Beaches, snorkeling, and groceries are nearby. Parking is generally available at properties or in nearby street and lot spaces.

Great place, and cheaper than the hotels

Jacob · Jun 2026

We had more space for the four of us to spread out, than we would have had in a hotel, for about 1/2 the price. The balcony overlooking the ocean was a favorite place for breakfast. Couple of odd things, but nothing you wouldn't find in any house. Overall a great place. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Hawaiian Getaway at Country Club Villas 234

PATRICIA · Jun 2026

My stay at Country Club Villas 234 in Hawaii was absolutely perfect. The villa was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed for a relaxing vacation. One of my favorite parts of the stay was spending evenings on the balcony, watching the beautiful Hawaiian sunsets. The views were breathtaking and made every night feel special. The location was excellent, offering a peaceful atmosphere while still being close to local attractions and activities. The property was well-maintained, and I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Country Club Villas 234 to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Hawaii. I look forward to returning in the future!
