Neighborhood

The neighborhood:
Kamaole Beach Park III is across South Kihei Road, close enough for a swim, snorkel, or sandy morning without planning the whole day around the car. Keawakapu Beach offers another nearby shoreline, and Wailea is just south for a dinner reservation or an evening wander. Maui Kamaole itself has tropical grounds, two pools with a heated lower pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, and barbecue areas. This is South Kihei for families who like options close at hand and outdoor time built into the day.

Transit

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

The accommodation was very comfortable, we slept very well, the location was also very good. It has an extraordinary amount of beach equipment, from a small swimming aid to small surfboards to two real surfboards approx. 2m, beach buggy, snorkeling equipment, several beach chairs, cool boxes, umbrellas and more. The kitchen was also very well equipped and the blender was great, in daily use. We liked it very much and would love to come back.
