In the evening, settle in to stream your favorite shows on the smart TV. Let your culinary skills shine in the sleek kitchen, equipped with granite countertops, gorgeous natural woods, and a full suite of stainless steel appliances. While dinner simmers, perch at the island bar with seating for two. When it’s time to eat, gather for fresh meals around the four-person dining table.

This single-level home sleeps four guests in two bedrooms, each equipped with a smart TV. Find comfort and privacy in the master suite, complete with a stately king bed, direct lanai access, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. A plush queen bed awaits in the second bedroom. The guest bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination. Start the day with fresh Kona coffee and enticing tropical aromas on the covered lanai, featuring a love seat and two cushioned armchairs. In the evening, sizzle fresh fish and veggies on the gas grill, then dine alfresco at the outdoor table for six. Extra perks include complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer. Beach chairs/toys are provided in the rental. Stroll 10 minutes to the exotic Kehena Black Sand Beach. Spend sun-kissed days lounging beneath the palms on the gorgeous ebony sand or attend the weekly drumming circle. (Swimming is not advised during heavy surf.)

Drive 13 miles to downtown Pahoa for a selection of eateries and shops. Head 31 miles to Hilo to find a host of dining, shopping, and entertainment options, as well as access to tranquil swimming lagoons. While there, check out the Panaewa Rainforest Zoo, the only natural tropical rainforest zoo in the country. Visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (45 miles) to view otherworldly topography.

Lovely jungle escape

Great rainforest escape, walkable to the black sand beach with a funky design. You can really feel like you're in the rainforest with the sound of the frogs and rain on the roof. It's pretty isolated from neighbors visually, and has a nice indoor / outdoor design. Well appointed for dining, cooking, lounging.

My husband and I had a peaceful stay at this location. The house was clean and we had a wonderful visit!

This home had everything we needed for our stay. Located a couple blocks from the beach, we got to go down and see the sunrise which was beautiful. The home has a nice layout for gathering and the grounds are quite amazing with all of the palm and fruit trees.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and serene home. The house has such a calm, relaxing energy, surrounded by lush jungle-like greenery, vibrant flowers, and the soothing sounds of nature. The beach is just a short walk away‚Äîperfect for morning strolls or sunset views. Located only 10 minutes from the local markets and Uncle Robert‚Äôs, a must-visit local spot, it was easy to enjoy both the quiet of nature and the energy of the nearby community. The neighborhood is full of people who truly embody the spirit of aloha‚Äîwarm, welcoming, and kind. Highly recommend this spot if you‚Äôre looking to unwind and reconnect with nature in a beautiful, peaceful setting.
