My friend and I stayed here to get some serious R&R. It was perfect for that purpose. It is a spacious, clean, quiet apartment with easy access to amenities. Washer/dryer are in the apartment so we didn't need to bring very much in terms of clothes. Pool is on location, maybe two minutes away which was awesome. Neighborhood is very safe and quiet - we were able to take a walk at sunset without feeling unsafe. Small shopping center with grocery store, a few restaurants, hardware store, and post office are all within a very short drive. We plan to stay here again when our need for R&R comes up.

I loved the space and the many things that I was able to use, just wished for how to use the pool and jacuzzi
Great as always
Jessie C. · Jan 2024
The unit was just as described. Clean, well appointed and a great base for a North Shore vacation.
The entire unit has central air, not that we needed it much in January as temps were very pleasant and just a touch cool in the evenings.
I was concerned about the lanai on the first floor as these units do not have any barriers so you can just walk right up/off which doesn't give you much privacy, however as this unit doesn't look out onto the pool area it is actually much more secluded and we were able to use it a lot.
Got lots of use out of the pool/hot tub, public grills and little gym as well.
Check in was very easy and communication from vacasa was good.
Overall a great place to stay, and we hope to again next time!

Now we know that we should go to the house first before going out on our adventure so that we can get the gear we need rather than purchasing our own. They even provide beach towels. It was a great place to stay. The rooms and bathrooms are large!

The Island of Kauai is really beautiful. Our stay at the condo was really nice. The surrounding were amazing. Even though our air conditioning went out for 1 day, our agent Noelani was a Rockstar. She was able to get out condo squared away which we know is very difficult. That's because construction technicians are typically on island time. I would recommend this vacation rental to future guest. The place was clean, the surroundings were beautiful and the restaurants in Hanalei bay were only 15 min. away. This is a fun place

The beds were super comfortable and I love the pillows so much I’m going to look for them to replace mine. The location is perfect, parking is easy and we were very comfortable for 2 couples. The location is very central to all of the Princeville and Hanalei attractions. The sunset walk to the beach overlook was a wonderful surprise!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo! It was a great location and very quiet and peaceful. The location was great and close to many of the activities we wanted to do. The Vacasa staff was really wonderful and easy to work with. In fact, they even stopped by our first day to bring us extra beach towels which we really appreciated. The only minor critique I had was that they did not initially supply us with enough shampoo and conditioner for our stay. But that was pretty minor detail considering what a great place it was!
Everything you Need for a fantastic Vacation
Shannon D. · Apr 2022
This main floor condo with door opening from kitchen into the parking garage was perfect because our 17 year old daughter has limited mobility. She was able to get around this beautiful condo without concern of falling down stairs.
The condo itself had a fully stocked kitchen with enough variety of pots, pans, utensils and plastic food containers to make cooking nice meals a breeze and allow you to pack lunches the next day.
We also really appreciated the provided beach chairs, umbrella and cooler in the garage (which we ended up paying a small fortune to rent the following week in Maui). The A/C was nice for the hot & humid days and the small but efficient electric barbecue on the lanai made dinner prep convenient (as we didn't have to walk to the pool where the community barbecues were located). Each bedroom had a TV and the living room had a larger TV with comfortable furniture. The lanai was located on the NW corner so was shaded in the morning and evening which was lovely for sitting outside for morning coffee and evening cocktails.
The beds were actually comfortable and the pillows just right. The provided VACASA shampoo and rinse were much appreciated as well all loved the coconut tropical scents.
There is a grocery store 5 min away, a nice walking trail along the golf course and of course, Hanalei Bay is only 20 minutes from the condo with great restaurants and shops.
We would definitely recommend this condo and would return.

Nothing beats the views from Princeville! 30 minute walk to multiple beaches and 20 minutes from a wonderful view of the sunset. Owners were very thoughtful and left towels and beach chairs as well as all of the kitchen utensils we’d require.
Princeville Paradise
Mark C. · Jun 2021
The condo is so beautiful, spacious with sliding doors looking out to a garden. Sitting on the lanai with coffee in the morning watching the sun rise was a daily pleasure. The birds (no roosters for us) sang and the weather of course, perfect! Nightly we’d take the short walk to the spot we liked to watch the sunset. We ate mostly meals prepared from home as the island was busy. We brought homemade lunches (grocery store in Princeville Center blocks away)to all our beach spots and borrowed the house cooler and boggy boards. We came home to an air conditioned house (it cools down quick) and did some swimming at the community pool and hot tub (waterfall included) and used the pool BBQ to cook meat for dinner. Truly a great vacation. We didn’t want to leave…ever.

This is a very nice place and a good value in the off-season. The photographs in the listing are not captioned and can make you feel like the place has a view of the water, but it does not. This did not bother me though, because the condo is so nice and is really well appointed. There is a mountain view out the master bath, but the rest of the views are of nice landscaping and other condos. There is excellent AC, but we didn't use it much at all, the ceiling fans were plenty. There is a convenient garage to park in with electric opener. Check-in is super easy with just a code on the door to get in. The Internet connection on the TV would come and go, but again, no big deal - it seems like that happens everywhere I've been in Hawaii so far. There was only one moment when I started to question my decision to book this place, and that was on the third to the last day when a variety of ant called, "Little Yellow Ants" came out of the headboard of the bed and started crawling around the bed. It freaked me out at the time, but I have to say that the Vacasa rental management company handled the situation professionally. I called them and they sent out their lead cleaning person and she changed the bedding and took care of the ant problem. I do expect bugs and geckos everywhere I go in Hawaii, I just didn't expect them to come from the headboard of my bed. But no ants returned and the situation was handled so nicely that I went back to giving the place 5 stars. I wish I had booked this place for my entire stay on Kauai, but unfortunately I had booked the remainder of my visit in a condo in Poipu that cost more and wasn't even a quarter as nice. I think I got pretty lucky to have found Plantations at Princeville #1312 . It's an excellent choice and the rental managers really have your back.

It is a ground-floor unit, so expect to be able to hear the footfall of anyone staying above, but for me, I don't mind the trade-off because an old knee injury prevents me from climbing stairs to a second floor. There were running children above us, but they respected quiet hours and really weren't a problem at all. The whole complex of guests in that area were very quiet after 10pm. There is excellent AC, but we didn't use it much at all, the ceiling fans were plenty. There is a convenient garage to park in with electric opener. We enjoyed a 10 day stay in this condo with days spent on the beach in Hanalei (one day watching outrigger canoe races), sipping Mai Tais at Happy Talk Lounge, golfing the Makai course and topped it off with an amazing dinner cruise at Capt. Andys out of Port Allen. The condo is in a prime location for activities on the north side of the island where we preferred to spend most of our time. It is well equipped with nice furnishings, TV and Bluetooth speakers to play your own selection of music. We highly recommend this condo.

The condo was very clean and comfortable.
It has a/c in the master bedroom only. It needs a/c in the second bedroom bc it got pretty hot in there in the afternoon & evening!
It has sufficient cookware & utensils ans serviceware/dishes (although a couple of the pans need replaced). There is a good microwave but no microwave dishes.
Each bathroom one small bar soap and it does have a hair dryer that works great. There are plenty of towels, including beach towels. There are several blow-up floats and sand toys for kids; three boogie boards for the beach.
It is right across the drive from the exercise room and pool which was nice.
The dining area needs an overhead light, which it looks like there was one at one time, although there is some lighting from the living room & kitchen, just more difficult to read at night at the table.
The summer cost is high but
we would very possibly stay here again.
We loved it!

It was a nice quiet property which allowed us to relax and unwind. The common pool has a nice BBQ for cooking up meals on the cheap end. The condo was clean and tidy.
Excellent except for hearing the people staying above us!!!!!
Christine L. · Mar 2019
We had a really good time! The condo was excellent & fully equipped! The only issues we had were the people staying above us! We could hear most of their conversations & could hear their children RUNNING AROUND WEE HRS OF THE MORNING!!!! I think they need to add insulation in the ceilings!!!!!!
Spacious condo on the north side of the island
Agata · Jan 2019
Spacious and comfortable two bedroom condo on the north part of the island. Close to some restaurants and some shopping. About 1-hour drive from the airport and Costco. About 10-minute drive to the beach. Cleaning fee too high for the cleaning quality.
Exceptional!!

Clean, well stocked... the furnishings, linen, everything was perfect! Having a ground floor was the best part!! We didn’t get to use the pool but was happy to know it was available. Plenty of space and all the amenities provided. Fans and A/C are always great in Hawaii. Maintenance was very responsive when we had a bathroom light out.

The condo was very clean and perfect for coming back to after playing all day. It was nice to be able and do some laundry at night. We had a problem with one of the drains and management fixed it immediately!!! We will definitely be coming back to stay here.

Perfectly located in Princeville! I searched many sites and hotels sites for a place with AC, which was a MUST for us. I know Kauai have beautiful weather, but we cant live without ac. This is one of the few places that have AC throughout the unit. The condo is on the first floor and beautifullly decorated. The master suites was huge and looks out into the garden. No scenic ocean view, but it really does not bother us. The ocean is within walking distance and its worth the walk every morning to go see the sun rise over the water. I am glad we were able to do that rather then watching from the house. Fully stocked kitchen, parking in garage and super easy check in. The house was spacious throughout and super, super clean. It was only myself and boyfriend, so we didnt use the extra room, but the place can easily fit 6 people comfortably. The owner and cleaner did a great job keeping this place up. Its not ultra modern, but the feel of it is cozy Hawaiian vibe. The price and value is well worth what we paid for (honestly, I didnt expect all this for what we paid for). I highly recommend this place over and over again and can go on forever- this place was everything we needed and wanted for our time in Kauai.

The condo was absolutely fantastic. Great location, wonderful amenities, and gorgeous accommodations. It would have been plenty of room for two couples. We only had two in our party and the place felt enormous and very grand. I will not hesitate to book this condo again in the future and the rate can not be beat. Very Pleased.

The condo was so much more than we had expected. It has all the comforts of home in a garden paradise. A beautiful fresh flower arrangement and chocolates were there to welcome us. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking essentials(the pots and pans have seen better days). The garage was stocked with beach chairs, cooler and beach gear. The lanai was great for our morning mimosas with breakfast. A map of the Island and a great reference book was provided to plan excursions for the best trip ever. Mahalo to you all for this great experience.

The unit is exactly as described and pictured. It's clean, well furnished, although the couch could use an update and the main tv is quite small - 22"?. (I know, who's watching tv while in Hawaii...well if you want to see the NBA playoffs...) For a few days, there were ants on the kitchen counter, but I'm guessing it could've been from the beautiful fresh floral arrangement. The garage door remote control was finicky...had to be directly within inches of the front of door for it to operate (low battery?). Otherwise, the four of us enjoyed the stay here. It was perfect, especially with two bathrooms. The pool area is small, and unlike a resort, but was fine. The Bali Hai staff were very professional in reserving the condo. I'd return and/or recommend this unit to others.

I was getting a bit desperate trying to find a good place to stay in Kauai for a trip that I didn't have as much time to plan for. I finally found this place and the price was good and the photos looked nice. When I got there I was blown away. This is one of the first times the actually property was BETTER than the photos!! Also theee was a mistake that was made by HomeAway, and they weren't going to help me. However I explained the situation to Bali Hai Real Estate (the host) and the took care of the problem, even though it wasn't their fault. I was incredibly impressed with their staff. Thank you very much!! Typed on phone so forgive typos please ;-)

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. When we arrived the unit was thoroughly cleaned & there were fresh island flowers & chocolates for our enjoyment. We also found a blooklet outlining unit rules & tips for our stay that were very helpful. The condo complex is very quiet & makes a welcome place to come back to after a busy day out enjoying the island. We found that we were often the only ones in the pool area. The location is great; Princeville is a quiet community & we always felt very safe to wander around the area. The close proximity to Hanalei & the great shops & restraunts were perfect! If you like a small town feel this is the area for you. The condo is well furnished, & the beds are very comfortable. Everything was as depicted in the photos & description. We found the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need & is well layed out. We also really apreciated the washer/dryer in the unit. Great for cleaning up after a day at the beach! There is a ton of water toys avalible for use in the condo & they made our trips to the beach a lot of fun! The condo does show some wear from use & some minor humidity related issues, but nothing that impeded our stay. I would be happy to recomend this unit to friends, & we all agreed that we would return to this unit for future stays to the island.

Pics were accurate. Beautiful condo with the comfort of open spaces and a/c as needed. The setting was perfect and the pool/spa ended up being a great way to relax at night. Only about 20 minutes from the beginning of the Napali Coast (Kalalau trail) which was amazing despite the muddiness of the trail. i would definitely stay here again. The only suggestions I have are: a few more pieces of silverware would help reduce the frequency of using the dishwasher. We made our own meals 90% of the time, so silverware was depleted by lunchtime. Also, the vacuum cleaner didn't do much and would fall down if breathed upon! Just minor things really...overall an incredible and clean place to stay.
