Sunrise Hale at the Cliffs

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was spacious, comfortable, and easily accommodated our family of five. The views and surrounding grounds were absolutely beautiful and made our stay in Kauai feel even more special.
Our host was also wonderful—very responsive and attentive throughout our stay. They periodically checked in to make sure everything was going well, which we really appreciated, while still giving us plenty of space to enjoy our vacation.
Overall, we had a great experience and felt very comfortable here. We would happily stay again and would definitely recommend this condo to families visiting Kauai!

Easy check in and comfortable place for three guests. The only thing was its location on the 3rd floor with no elevator so we had to carry all of our luggage up three flights of stairs. Other than that, it was comfortable and clean.

Amazing top unit with spectacular views. So spacious with truly everything we needed for our week stay with updated features, great WiFi connection and cable TVs. You’ll find beach chairs, pool toys and foam boards on the lanai- beach chairs were clutch. There was a leak in the roof from heavy rain that dripped into the kitchen. The host was very responsive and worked with us to find a resolution. When we come back to Kauai, we will make every effort to book this exact unit. Ceiling fans are in every room, and lanais. Tons of portable fans too along with endless bath and beach towels. We were so comfortable, it was hard to leave! Lots of roosters and chickens. Be prepared for their early morning noises!Huge tip: for those who have car rentals- take the vacuum and go to the grill area (next to putting greens). There are outlets you can plug the vacuum into to clean your rental so they don’t charge you for dirt/sand. Mahalo!

Amazing top floor unit with spectacular views. The unit had everything we needed for the week while we were there. The unit is also updated with newer fixtures. Plenty of parking, great community amenities. Two lanais that can both had ceiling fans. Beach chairs were clutch. We’ll make every effort to stay at this same unit when we come back to Kauai! Highly recommend.

This rental exceeded my expectations! It had a wonderful view, great amenities, and great location! I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again. It was perfect for our family of four with 2 small children who loved having their own loft.

This was our third stay at Sunrise Hale over the last 5 years and it won't be our last. It was great before but even better now after a full remodel of the kitchen and both bathrooms. The unit is third floor which means even when it's extra warm and humid outside the ocean breeze flows freely through the unit making it feel cool and comfy. The lanai has a great view of the ocean and the grassy area beyond the unit is a wonderful gathering place for sunset viewing. The Cliffs complex always has events and food trucks coming in in case you just don't want to go anywhere after a long day. Grocery store very nearby and kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals. Ideal location on the north shore close to so many wonderful beaches and restaurants. We enjoy the pool and Gym as well. The unit was clean and the staff at The Cliffs friendly and always accommodating. We'll be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunrise Hale! The view from the lanai was absolutely stunning—we found ourselves waking up early just to catch the sunrise and ending the day with the calming sound of the waves. The location is excellent—tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful, but still close to beaches, and great food spots in Hanalei. It was the perfect base for exploring the north shore. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our family. Having space to relax together after days of hiking, snorkeling, and adventuring around Kauai was such a bonus. If you’re looking for an unforgettable place to stay with unbeatable views, this is it. We’d definitely come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff at check-in was friendly, and offered maps and other materials to help us find our way around the property. When we entered the unit, we felt like we had won the lottery. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The ocean view from the front lanai was stunning (we saw whales spouting during our stay!). The king size bed and pillows in the master suite were comfortable, and there was a beautiful Mountain View off of that lanai. We also loved having two bathrooms! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The refrigerator was spacious, and looked brand new! We used the comfy chairs, cooler, and tote that were provided for the beach. The location was great for all of the places we wanted to visit. We are so grateful to the owners for the comfortable furniture, well stocked kitchen and beach items (we didn’t end up using the boogie board or snorkel gear). The grounds were beautifully maintained and the pool and hot tubs were well designed. I could go on and on, and we can’t wait to go back! Mahalo to the owners of the unit for the beautiful place to stay, and thank you Vacasa for taking such good care of it.

Great views, quiet with great amenities! The two double beds were great for our 3 boys and the master was downstairs away from the kids. The kitchen is well equipped, also love the boogie boards, ice chest, that were available. We will be back!

The Cliffs at Princeville was a wonderful experience. The guest services are fantastic and very polite and helpful!! The activities are abundant! Swimming ,hot tubs, shuffle board, pickle ball, tennis, the grounds are well kept. They have a lot of activities throughout the week such as Mai Tais on Monday, pizza trucks, lei making, hula dancing… it goes on and on.

We loved staying here. Highly recommended!

Fantastic view, good layout and plenty of space. What a treat to have our meals out on the patio overlooking the ocean and listening to the waves, the geese and roosters. Really nice residents on the property, access to a well-stocked market, and a short drive to Hanalei Bay.

This property was immaculate. The family who owns it should be very proud! We fell in love with Kauai, thanks to this property. We will try like crazy to stay at this same location on our next visit to Kauai!

We traveled with our 14 year old daughter and twin 3.5 year olds. The primary suite is enormous, the breeze across the condo was perfect, and our kids happily shared the loft. Everything we needed for cooking was in the kitchen and there were boogie boards, chairs, cooler and floating rings for the beach. It’s bigger than in the photos. Just overall perfect.

It was a short overnight stay. Short stroll to watch a beautiful sunset with the resident Nēnē geese. The unit was clean and well furnished with all the modern conveniences. Just a little challenge getting entrance to pool area without key card. Overall recommend and would stay again!!

Clean and well maintained; we did have two issues that were submitted to Vacasa and they stated that someone would come by and assist us but no one did. We did receive a call back from the maintenance but it was not until 3 days later.

The unit was gorgeous. Loved the view from both lanais and everything was very clean. So convenient to have the washer and dryer under there as well. The pool and jacuzzis are lovely.

We booked the third story condo for a mother/daughter stay. We appreciated that the loft gave us separate sleeping spaces. The condo was wonderfully outfitted with all the supplies to make our stay comfortable. In-unit washer and dryer was very convenient and we made good use of the beach supplies provided on the lanai. Without air conditioning the loft was a bit on the warm side but the fan definitely helped. The only negative is that the kitchen and bathrooms are showing their age. Everything functioned well but they looked dated and a bit worn.

A beautiful loft condo. Some furnishings a little dated, but easily outweighed by the setting, space, and overall amenities. Our kids loved the proximity to the pool. The chocolate and coffee on the counter were a nice touch. The view was great and the ocean breeze meant we never missed the AC. And when we left something behind, it was quickly and professionally returned. We’d definitely stay here again.

Lovely property with ocean views. Well appointed kitchen. Large master bedroom (door lock needs attention) 2 Large beds upstairs okay for comfort but older bedsandpillows. Upstairs fans only 1 of 3 in working order. Extra toilet paper would be nice.

Beautiful ocean view with plenty of amenities at the Cliffs to enjoy. Sunsets out on the lawn where you’ll find plenty of BBQ’s and chairs to take in the sights. Highly recommend this unit and can’t wait to go back.

The condo is in an ideal location, with plenty to do onsite as well as a short drive away. Comes with some beach gear to make those days easier, too.

Great location within the complex. 1 building away from the cliffs and shoreline with nice water views out the back of the unit. Right next to the pool, workout room, and main complex office. Great Layout to give some space for families. The condo had some snorkel gear, chairs, a small cooler, and boogie board which were much appreciated.

The proximity to the mountain, made it for a perfect get away. House was well taken care of and a perfect size for our family of 8.

What an amazing property! The cabin had everything we needed and more. We cooked together, played games, watched movies, hiked in the snow, built an igloo, worked puzzles, and had a wonderful family time. On some future non-pandemic visit, we'll also go explore Angel Fire Village, which looked charming on our drive through. Everything was perfect!

This place was wonderful! Stayed for 10 days in October 2020. Clean and wonderfully appointed. Watched the sunrise from the Lanai every morning. The ocean view is spectacular. The Cliffs resort is well kept with great amenities and a beautiful pool and gym. The location in Princeville was perfect for us. Close to Hanalei and so many great beaches. Can’t wait to go back!

This was a last minute trip that we friends planned. We wanted to stay in New Mexico and this was the perfect getaway. The house was large enough to accommodate us all and perfectly located. The weather being perfect we were able to spend a lot of time outdoors but the house has a lot to offer if we had to stay in. Kitchen is well equipped and the host was very responsive when contacted.

The house and the location are great for a much needed getaway. There is plenty of space and the basement offers great entertainment for everyone. They home owner was very responsive when we had questions. The first night the power went out several times for multiple hours which was worrisome with fridges full of food for our long stay. I guess this is a normal occurrence and everything was fine. It did get very hot one of the days we were there it was pretty uncomfortable upstairs inside but the basement offered a cooler location to hang out while the heat of the day passed. The home owner had tons of kitchen stuff for the kids (bowls,plates etc.) which was awesome we all brought our stuff from home but didn’t need to. The kitchen was organized and we appreciated the labels on the cabinets. The lake right across the road was great! Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Our family spent two weeks in this comfortable home across from Monte Verde Lake. It was absolutely a wonderful time of connection together and with nature. The view, the large lot of pines, the lake across the watch the trails just minutes away were spectacular. The furniture was comfortable and sturdy. The kitchen was the best equipped we have ever had, and we easily were able to make all our meals at home. The communication with Deb was prompt, friendly, and helpful. We highly recommend staying at Deb’s family vacation home for your family vacation.

I stayed at this beautiful cabin with my family and two other families. There was plenty of room for all of us. The kids loved the movie theater as well as the ping pong table. The kitchen was well stocked. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Great family cabin, my wife and I, along with our 4 children loved this place, great location right by Monte Verde Lake. Kids especially loved the bunk bed room with the ping pong table and the movie room. Great please, highly recommend for families!!

My family really enjoyed our stay here. It was quiet, clean, comfortable. We loved having the washer and dryer available in the condo to wash our clothes after some muddy hikes! We have three teenagers and the condo was very spacious for all of us. The master bedroom is good sized, you don’t feel cramped. Has a great view of the ocean! The concierge and reception desk were extremely friendly and helpful. It really did feel like home away from home. Nice pool and jacuzzis, tennis courts and bikes available for rent on site. If you are staying in Princeville, I would recommend!

This property was perfect for our all-family ski vacation. We were a lively group of 7 adults and 9 kids. One of the things we liked best about the property was the ability for everyone to be together, yet there were lots of different places around the house for people to be doing something different. The proximity to the ski resort was great. The view from the back window is stunning. All the amenities we needed were there and easy to find. All in all, it was the perfect accommodation for our big group. We made many memories we'll all cherish. Thank you!

My family stayed here for Christmas vacation to ski at the Angel Fire resort. This was an excellent place to stay. The beds were comfortable, the amenities were wonderful, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need to make meals for a large group. Deb was an outstanding host and was very easy to contact with questions about the property/surrounding area. At one point, our cars were snowed into the driveway and Deb made sure we all got out and had it plowed for us afterward. This is a very special place to stay and we highly recommend it.

This quiet and picturesque cabin was a perfect homestead for our three-family trip for Christmas. There were plenty of beds, with extra pads to spare, for our group of 12. It was so nice to have space for the family to spread out and not be on top of one another. When you come in the winter, be sure to pay attention to the road reports as they can get quite icy. Also, because the driveway is a bit steep, we chose to park at the street level; naturally, the car rental company can't guarantee your SUV will have four-wheel drive. Ugh.

This lovely little home away from home was perfect. Beautiful view of the ocean and very comfortable. While it rained most of our trip we didn’t mind seeing rainbows from our balcony and swimming in the pool. On sunny days we took our chairs and snorkeling equipment (provided here) to the beach. We were very happy here and would come back again.

We enjoyed our time at this property. We are a family with three children (ages 6-10) and having 2 separate sleeping areas and 2 bathrooms is a huge help. The unit is on the 3rd floor of the building and its a 2-story unit - we don't mind stairs at all but just giving info for other visitors (If i had a toddler, this wouldn't be ideal). The unit is well stocked with things for you to enjoy your stay. There were 4 beach chairs, a few boogie boards, quite a few snorkel masks and fins (not the full-face masks...the normal ones!). There was also a small ice chest that we used plenty while we were there so that we could take a small item or two and keep cold while we were out exploring. The kitchen was well stocked with things we needed (storage containers for leftovers, the normal plates, utensils, cups, can opener, etc). There were coffee filters already there for us to use (and 2 sample coffee packs in case we hadn't brought our own to get us through the first morning -ha!). There was also a Kauai guidebook, as well as a couple of puzzles and games that our kids enjoyed. The in-unit washer and dryer was very nice and they included 2 Tide detergent packs for use - we got a little muddy on a hike so that was useful! There are TVs in both sleeping areas, and in the living room. We loved dining on the lanai for our meals seeing the ocean out in front of us. The "neighborhood"/community is quiet. The unit is right next to the pool/spa and small gym - we found this very convenient and nobody was ever loud late that bothered us. We visited in Sept and the tradewinds kept the condo reasonable in the evening but we needed the help of the many fans provided. We, however, live on Oahu and are used to no A/C and not sleeping at cold temperatures. During the late spring and summer months I can see how not having A/D in the unit would be a deterrent for others but its extremely normal on all of the islands to not have it. The resort also had plenty of fun activities available (we didn't utilize them but they gave us a schedule upon checkin - things like lei making, hula class). There was a different FoodTruck that came about 4 of the evenings of the week so that is a fun bonus. Also there is a putting green and basketball courts free for use. The condo is located very conveniently in princeville and we enjoyed our stay. The only negative experience wasn't the fault of the unit but of the managing property (The Cliffs). Upon checkin they had my name assigned to a different unit altogether and tried to send me to it. When the lady was showing me on the map I told her that that was not the unit number on my reservation instructions - I knew it wasn't b/c it was a unit way at the back without an ocean view possible. She seemed very confused and it took about 5 minutes for me to get directed to the correct unit and pretty much only because I had read my emails and knew what to expect. I couldn't have gotten into the wrong place anyway since my door code wouldn't have worked on that lockbox but I'm glad we didn't drag our luggage up to a wrong floor. It all got sorted out but again, I was glad I knew what I was doing.

Enjoyed the property and facilities available within the property (washing machine kitchen etc), everything clean. The only drawback is air conditioning in the bedroom would have made the place perfect. Had to close the patio door as the pool filter ran all night and it was pretty hot. We only stayed 4 nights and by the fourth night we did start getting used to the filter noise. Still very happy with the property

Beautiful home and perfect for our family. Plenty of space for everyone.

We stayed at this wonderful property over Christmas break with the whole family, and are looking forward to returning soon. The house was in amazing shape, the views from the back deck were awesome and the owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. It was more than comfortable for 10 adults and 2 kiddos, with multiple beds to spare. The house is a very short drive to Angel Fire ski resort and easy drive to Taos resort. If the weather is bad or just want to relax just hang out in the media room or play pool to pass the time. The kitchen had everything we needed for all meals, we just needed food which was a quick drive to the store down the street. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway with the family or friends, we will be coming back to this house next time we are in New Mexico. Enjoy all the amenities of the house and Angel Fire!!!

This was a beautiful, well kept cabin that was well equipped to handle our entire family including all 3 of my kids plus their families. We slept 16 people very comfortably without having to bring any extra air mattresses. This property was very clean and easy to access Angel Fire skiing and any other amenities in town. We thoroughly enjoyed being up in the mountains and away from town! The views were amazing and I know this was a Christmas my family will remember forever!
