A Perfect Home Base in Paradise
MOHAMMAD · Dec 2023
Our family of four, including two kids (9 and 12) and a 4-month-old baby, recently had the pleasure of staying at Kauai Kailani 319, and it exceeded our expectations in every way.
Booking and Support:
From the moment we booked, the support from the Vacasa team was exceptional. The Vacasa app made communication seamless, and every request or question was promptly addressed with a simple text. A solid 10/10 for customer service.
The Room:
Kauai Kailani 319 felt like a true home away from home. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a stove, toaster, blender, and dishwasher, made family meals a breeze. The thoughtful provision of beach gear, including boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, and beach toys, was a pleasant surprise. The Smart TV and Nintendo Switch setup added a touch of entertainment, and the strategically placed air conditioning unit and fans ensured our comfort.
Location:
The location in Kapaa couldn't be more perfect. A short walk to the beach for breathtaking sunrises, and convenient access to Safeway and other stores and eateries across the street. Kapaa's central position on the island made exploring both the north and south parts of Kauai easy, with major attractions like Costco, Walmart, and the airport all within a 20-minute drive.
Property Amenities:
The BBQ grills near the game room were a hit for family gatherings. We enjoyed grilling while engaging in a friendly game of ping pong. The two pools on the property added a refreshing touch to our stay.
Community Vibes:
The mix of locals and fellow tourists created a welcoming atmosphere. It truly felt like a community where everyone was friendly and approachable.
Beach Experience:
The beach, with its available chairs and scenic walking path, became our sanctuary. Evenings were magical for stargazing on clear nights.
Cleanliness:
The room's freshness and cleanliness were remarkable. The well-stocked cleaning supplies allowed us to maintain the space effortlessly, and there wasn't a hint of any pests.
Room for Improvement:
While our stay was nearly flawless, having a washer and dryer in the room or on the property would have been convenient. Additionally, heated pools would have been a nice touch, especially during cooler evenings.
Conclusion:
Our first visit to Hawaii was made truly memorable by our stay at Kauai Kailani 319. When we return, this will be our go-to choice. The property's charm surpassed that of other hotels and resorts on the island, offering a more authentic and pleasant experience.
