Step into paradise as the open great room comes with Koa wood floors, doors, and cabinets, as well as a 24-foot-high, custom Hawaiian wood cathedral ceiling, studded with skylights, marble, and granite finishes. Each of the three bedrooms has a therapeutic mattress, high-quality linens, and pillow options. With ceiling fans in every room, you’ll fall asleep to the ocean breeze with ease. Custom lighting throughout the home adds to amazing vacation pictures. The front and rear lanais offer beautiful partial ocean and mountain views, respectively. The landscaping features an abundance of tropical plantings and flowers that attract birds and wildlife.
The large main bedroom suite has a king bed and a marble bathroom with twin vanities and a luxurious shower. Each of the two oversized bedrooms offers direct access to separate lanais through screened doors. Each includes a queen bed and a daybed with an additional twin mattress underneath, and they share a large marble bathroom and shower. The large, fully-equipped kitchen has Koa wood cabinets, stainless appliances, granite counter-tops, and top amenities for intimate meal prepping and cooking. We had such a great stay. The location was absolutely amazing with it being steps from a beautiful beach. The giant soaking tub in the primary bedroom was also very relaxing. Lastly, the outdoor shower was perfect for when we came back from the beach and needed to rinse off before we went inside.

The location of this place is amazing. Right across the street is an alley to the beach with some great snorkeling and calm Waters. Very gorgeous!The place itself is decent. Something I would expect to find in Costa Rica to be honest, but a lot more expensive than there.The reason I say this, the place is somewhat rundown. The makeshift bedroom with sliding doors, the doors are broken and don’t really slide. There’s nothing wrong with staying there, just need to know what to expect. For the price you’re paying, it should be a little more high-end or more well put together without defects.The privacy you have in the back house is great. There are frogs jumping around the yard and chickens with babies in the backyard that you have to yourself. I enjoyed staying at this place. The power did go out the second night we were there, and we were stuck, not having electricity, lights, or any type of entertainment.

I gave a less-than-perfect overall rating because communication with the property management company was sub-par, days delayed and largely unresponsive. For the money, communication with the property management should be more responsive.

We weren't disappointed in the home itself, and Anini is just about the most peaceful place I've been, so it was amazing to be back and able to just walk across the street to be in bliss anytime we wanted! We loved the space, comfy rooms, and tons of beach supplies. The location can’t be beat, especially with the 1 min walk to the calm and beautiful Anini beach.
Please note this property lacks AC like most houses in Kauai and has some things that are worn.

Our first trip to Kauai Hawaii. Stayed directly across from Anini beach where we got married on Wednesday August 20th. This home had literally everything you need. All you needed to bring were clothes and groceries!! Staff was very helpful and answered quickly with any questions I had. I would definitely recommend and I would most definitely use Vacasa again!

Everything was perfect as far as the house, amenities, and location but we and our guests were pretty hot at the property despite the fans. The trade winds don’t seem to provide the same ventilation on the linais or inside the house as well as I’ve experienced with other similar non-ac having facilities. It may have just been the week we were there.
North shore adventure

This is where my wife and I stayed while exploring the North shore portion of our trip to Kaua’i. I would say this shore is a little slower pace and less congested than the other areas we stayed. It’s kind a short drive to do anything except visit Anini beach which is a very short walk from this property.This is what I would almost call a guest house on this property, the main house is just a short 25 feet away, and is also available on VRBO. Awesome if you have multiple parties wanting to stay together, not so much if just the two of you are looking for privacy. The property is great, was very clean, and was probably my favorite place we stayed on the island. You get to see (and hear) chickens everywhere, but here we also saw pigs traveling through the back yard area, and had a few lizard visitors inside.

The property is stunning inside and out. The rooms are sizable, particularly the master. Each of the two smaller rooms has a day bed, so three people could sleep in each of those rooms. The living/dining/kitchen area is huge and well appointed. The kitchen is equipped for cooking and baking. The living room has a large couch and two comfy arm chairs. There are games and DVDs in the cupboards below the tv. The basement storage room has beach gear galore! Snorkeling masks, beach chairs, umbrellas, floating devices, and sand castle building supplies. On top of that, the location is outstanding! Our trip to the beach entailed a walk across the street. Anini Beach is a great snorkeling spot. Plus, you may be lucky enough to catch the paragliders on a day when the wind is right. Princeville, Hanalei and Kilauea are a quick drive to access great food, grocery stores, shops, and activities. So you get both the quiet of a seaside house combined with cities just a hop, skip and a jump away.Perfection!

We booked this house because of its location. With 3 grandkids, it made sense to be close to the beach. The house was a wonderful 60's island house and perfect for our large group. We loved the house, but did not love Vacasa. They sent the incorrect door locations and door codes for entering the house. It took 1.5 hours to resolve this and managed also to offend us with their repetitive questions asking us if we were at the correct location. I think I will book with a local homeowner or vacation rental next time..

We are a family of four with young kiddos and we enjoyed our stay at this place. We always had hot water in bath and showers, which was great. The house location near the beach is amazing and the beach is beautiful.
The beds and pillows are comfy.
The washer and dryer are excellent and was helpful to have available. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. There was a place to spray sand off outside which was necessary.
We also enjoyed watching the birds in the backyard and loved seeing the geckos around. Mahalo!

It’s been a week since our stay and felt like it was a dream! Spacious and clean house all around. Wife loves to cook with local ingredients and kitchen had more appliance than our home so worked out perfectly.
I had no idea this house had so much beach toys!! We started every morning with paddle boardin, and snorkeling while wife floated around turtles with gazzilion different types of tunes to chose from. House even had a surfboard so I took it out to Hanalei bay couple times.
We had no issues with heat as we had plenty of trade winds to cool the house very quick. I’m sure being in the water half the day helped.
House is literally infront of the beach entrance and felt so good to carry our paddle board few steps to the water while locals struggled to find parking and off load theirs from a roof rack. üòé
Please note that this house is very remote and there are no restaurants or markets near by so expect a 15min drive to Princeville for any civilization.

I went swimming with the turtles and fishes every morning, spent the afternoon reading on the beach, and we could easily get to and from Hanalei, Princetown, and Kilauea for lunch or dinner when we decided to go out. The various amenities of the house - beach chairs & towels, shower gel/shampoo/conditioner, laundry facilities, Apple TV for casting our shows at night, and a kitchen stocked with the basics we needed for a 5-day stay (as well as our favorite granola greeting us on arrival) - made our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. An unexpected surprise was the big beautiful backyard with its amazing trees and wildlife. Access on arrival was easy, the house was clean and cozy, and while we never quite figured out the downstairs shower (or were maybe just impatient trying to figure it out), one good hot shower upstairs was plenty for our needs. We could hear the neighbors when they were on their deck but it was nothing abnormal or obnoxious. We miss it already; we will absolutely stay here again.

We got in late & were very tired The ease of getting into the cottage was very smooth. It is a charming cottage, but needs a couple home improvement issues addressed like the sliding door of the upstairs bedroom, one of the doors seemed to be off the hinge & the carpet downstairs has kind of an odor. Incredible location, and has the basics you need to be comfortable. Like other reviewers have mentioned it’s very damp inside and a little dated, but we were never uncomfortable and it reminded us that what we came to Kauai for was to be outside on the beach or exploring outside of the house. Perfect home if you’re looking for location, ease, and focusing on spending your time on the island. Check in was super easy, laundry was wonderful, and staying there with our baby was great. I would stay here again!

Second time coming back to these homes on Anini Beach! We love the location. The homes are across the street from the best beach in Kauai (in our opinion), especially early in the morning to swim with so many sea turtles. The house is well equipped with beach essentials (boards, floats, goggles, etc). The homes are spacious and provided us a lovely week getaway!

The only thing I can think of that everyone should know is that 3:30 AM you’ll be awakened by the rooster. a couple of Welland limes shut him up, but a better solution is meet the neighbors next-door and borrow his pellet gun

Also, very close to Hanalei and Princeville for market and restaurant options. The north part of the island gets you away from the big resorts and "commercial" feel of Hawaii. I will try and book this property again next time we come back.

Absolutely stunning home! Great location! The check-in process was a little rough from the start. We were not in receipt of the check in instructions on how to actually access the property itself. It took close to an hour going through Vrbo to reach someone to get the instructions sent to us via email. Once we got to the home the home was absolutely stunning. It was late in the evening, but the morning sun rise, highlighted exactly what the property was all about and we could’ve been any happier. Woke up to the ocean and roosters :)

Location is perfect! We walked across the street to ‘our beach’ and daily location under a huge tree. We watched the sunset each night with a glass of wine and then went back to a very warm house. That was the one drawback. We realize we are in Kauai and AC is not the norm but it was so warm even with fans everywhere- ceiling and floor. You will need and use all the fans. We did have some days where the temperature and trade winds cooled the house. The nights were good for sleeping as it would cool down. The front lanai was our favorite spot to gather after dinner. Beds were very comfortable. Snorkeling equipment and paddle board were great to have! A few small suggestions- only found 2 kitchen towels, need more! My daughter rented a few baby items for our 4 month old grandson which is a great service available if traveling with an infant including a pack and play- THERE WAS ONE IN THE MASTER BEDROOM CLOSET! I even called Vacasa to find out if there were any baby items in the home. Please add to you list of items for this house!!
Also there were 3 empty propane tanks for the BBQ so we had to cook chicken inside Friday evening. Called to request tanks and they were delivered on Sunday.
Anini Beach is such a beautiful spot! Hope to return!!

This home is spacious, comfortable, well equipped, thoughtfully decorated and incredibly located. So many spaces for lounging - both a front deck and a back one - as well as a large family room with comfy furniture. The beds too were amazing.
There was tons of beach equipment provided - everything you could want or need! The home sits directly across the street from one of the beach accesses to Anini - a gem of a beach and an ideal place for snorkeling or playing in the sand with little ones or relaxing.
I highly recomment this home and hope to stay there again!

This was an amazing location for our family. Three children under the age of 7, a teenager, and my wife and I. We thoroughly enjoyed the home and being so close to the water. It was easy to set up a spot on the beach in the morning and go back and forth between house and beach all day. Water was great. Anini is some of the calmest water and most protected beach in Kauai. Great place for paddleboarding, seeing sea turtles, snorkeling, playing with the kids, etc. Highly recommend this home. There is an option to rent the small cottage behind the home. Would recommend that too.

Walking across the street to the beach was amazing, especially since the beach is pretty secluded and we always found a shady spot to hang out. The house was beautiful and spacious, just had several quirks. Would have been nice to be told of these ahead of time instead of trial and error. Washer and dryer only worked on certain settings, no cold water at kitchen sink, screen door doesn’t close properly (mosquitoes everywhere) and bathtub jets don’t work. We also had a few other issues that were resolved, but communication was difficult since you have to go through Vacasa and not the local team. Also just a heads up there is limited to no cell phone service depending on your carrier. Wifi worked great though and we really enjoyed all the amenities the house had to offer. Vitamix, rice cooker, SUP and surf board, tons of beach chairs and snorkel gear. We were lucky to have courteous renters in the house directly behind this one so noise was not an issue. For the price, we expected a more flawless experience but that being said, we’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The house has a fantastic location: steps from the beach!! 2 great lanais. Inside, everything you need. It is very Spacious. One problem we encountered was with the dishwasher: first time we use it, the dishes aren’t cleaned. I contact Vacasa team: very professional and I’m told someone will be there the next day and to expect a call or text message. Well nobody came, called or ever texted. So no dishwasher for us for the whole week. Upon leaving, we talked to cleaning crew who told us we would get some kind of refund, but we havent received any news of that. So bottom line, be prepared to be on your own on this one. Once again the place is super well located, is very nice, well appointed but if you have a problem, good luck. Be aware, there is no a/c. It did not really cause a problem, we were there in late October.

Great location, lovely house, appreciated the stand-up paddle boards, beach chairs, etc. provided, Wi-fi super fast. The kitchen, however, needs an upgrade - dish washer can't wash to save it's life (we had to do it by hand), oven can't cook a thing (we relied on the BBQ), sink faucet was stuck on the pull-out sprayer and trash and recycling bins too small. We had fun.

The home was beautiful and very spacious. The bedrooms were all good sized and the beds and futons were comfortable. There was plenty of room for a large family and the dual patios made for a great outdoor space. The access to the beach was incredible. Having relaxing mornings and evenings was so nice; couldn't have been more than a 3 minute walk back and forth to the calmest beach around.
The only negative as others have pointed out is the lack of A/C. This is common in the area, but as this house has a skylight, the heat gets a bit rough in the afternoon and the nights are a bit warm. There are many fans which helped, but A/C would make this one of the best stays in Hawaii. The parking is also very tight so if you have a large vehicle it may be difficult to get in and out.
Overall, this was a beautiful house with great Hawaiian style touches and the beach was amazing.

Overall, a great property and location. Spacious and clean, we enjoyed stand up paddle boarding on the calm waters in the morning. Well-stocked equipment shed - SUP, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, snorkel gear, etc. The only thing to be forewarned is that the West-facing 2 rooms and family room can get HOT! When we arrived, we immediately opened all the windows, and hung out on the lanai, which is nice and breezy. Watched a movie from 7-9 in our swimsuits. By 9, the West facing rooms had cooled down enough to sleep. The master faces East, so it stays cool. The next two nights, it rained overnight so the rooms stayed cool until the early afternoon. It wasn’t a huge issue for us as we were out and about during the day, but if you have little kids that need to nap in the afternoon, they will have to do so in the master. But overall, an excellent experience and location!

This was a fun place! It was secluded and so close to the beach that you never have to drive. It was a short walk along a sandy shaded path to a perfect beach location outside of the water. Lot of snorkeling but the kids can't just run and jump into the water without hitting the reef.
Like others said, no A/C but ceiling fans and not being there in the middle of the day helped. Note that the home allows for a lot of airflow, which means minimal privacy. All the bedroom doors are a fixed shutter style and while you can't see in, noise travels right through.
All-in-all it was a great place and we'd stay there again because of location and size. Oh, and the beds are amazing! Slept like a baby.

Great and secluded house steps away from Anini Beach. Quiet and backs onto jungle like setting, yet walk right across the street to the beach. House was well maintained and kept and was perfect for our family. Loved having the snorkel, beach toys and boogie boards available to use.
Our only issues were that the kitchen sink leaked quite a bit when the faucet was turned on, and the bugs in the back bathroom freaked out my wife. Other than that we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to other families.

We are fortunate to travel quite a bit, this property was one of the best appointed we've visited. Lots of beach gear including chairs, umbrellas, coolers, snorkel sets, paddle boards, full complement of kitchen gadgets, blender, pots and pans etc. If anything we'd want bedrooms to have A/C for summer months but that's about the only thing we'd change. The location is perfect and the house is pretty good. The beach across the streets is so close and perfect for young kids. It feels almost private. The house was mostly great but a few things could make it a little more comfortable. The kitchen seriously lacked some essential items or what was there was damaged (scratched nonstick pans, limited storage containers, plates, no bakeware). Also, there is no dining table just a very high counter with heavy stools. This made dining with our young kids very difficult and messy. There are 2 tv areas and the one off of the kitchen would make a better dining area then living. Otherwise, the house is great and I’d stay again since the kids will most definitely be older.

Our family loved staying at the house! The location can’t be beat directly across the street from Anini Beach. We saw tons of turtles and some fish snorkeling. The 2 SUPs were awesome to use on the calm waters - perfect way to start the day. The house is well-stocked with everything you need. The 3 bedrooms were spacious and fit us comfortably. There is a 2 bedroom back house - no one stayed there during our visit. If someone were staying there privacy would be impacted. Be prepared for the roosters to wake you up starting at 4am but that’s the Kaua’i life. The only downside of the house is the main room gets unbearably hot from about noon to 8pm. We couldn’t spend much time inside during that time. Usually we were out adventuring so it was fine but we arrived home to an oven even with the overhead fans on. When we arrived on Sunday at 4pm the whole house was roasting. The bedrooms at night were comfortable with fans blazing - we requested more fans - that helped. We were surprised to find no AC units given the previous renters’ and owner’s comments that 5 AC units had been installed. We eventually were told by the management company via text that the owner tried to install units but the electrical panel won’t support it. So as of 10/25 there are no AC units. Hoping the owner can find a way to upgrade so that the whole house can be enjoyed. With all that said, we would absolutely stay at the house again especially during cooler months. Enjoy the turtles!

Fantastic location and property. Literally steps from Anini Beach. The house is large and spacious, and comes fully stocked with everything you might need in the home or at the beach. The only drawback during our stay was the summer heat. The main area of the house stayed quite warm and the AC units didn't keep up during the main part of the day, but we were out of the house for the most part during this time. In the morning and nights it was very comfortable.

We stayed at Anini Ohana Hale for 9 nights, and loved it! It was very homey and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was wonderful in quiet and peaceful Anini Beach. It was a short drive to Kilauea, Princeville and Hanalei, and a gorgeous
40 minute drive to Ke'e Beach at the end of the road. Although it is not the very best beach for snorkeling compared to Tunnels, Ke'e, and Poipu, it is decent (we *did* see some fish and turtles). It IS, however, the best swimming beach due to its very long (about 2 miles) protective reef. It is also an excellent place for SUP boarding and kayaking. The home is about a 1 minute walk across the street to the beach, which is one of the best things about staying at this home. The kitchen & laundry room were certainly handy to have. There is a large backyard facing jungle and a dining table and barbecue grill. The outdoor area for cleaning after the beach or a muddy hike that is mentioned in the description is actually just a garden hose, unlike all the other vacation homes where we have stayed on Kauai that have outdoor showers. The main house that is facing the street has a shower, however this is the guest cottage in the back and the shower is not shared. The air conditioning units in most of the rooms were very loud. We turned them off and opened all the window louvers and turned on all the ceiling fans. That provided enough cooling and air circulation, and it was nice to hear the birds instead of electric air conditioning units. I could tell, however, the AC would be necessary if it was very hot, however it was not so during our stay (end of September-early October). Beach towels, beach chairs and other beach equipment or available for use. All in all this vacation home is excellent and we would certainly stay here again.

Worked really well for our family of six. Amazing location across the street from public access for Anini Beach. Beach was calm and great for kids, paddle boarding and swimming. Water was clear and scenery stunning. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. There is a second separate guest house being rented behind this house that shares a driveway so was not as private as we expected. It was a huge deal but good for people to know, especially with little kids because we felt we all had to be quiet and they were not able to play outside as anticipated. This house would be a five star if not for privacy and a few items in home that need to be fixed for full functionality.

Spacious, well equipped house with a wonderful location right next to Anini beach. It was a hot week and the a/c was not adequate (could not get main room beneath 85deg during the day) but was told the owner is looking to upgrade. Despite this we had a great time. Thank you

We loved everything about this property, the location, the home, it was clean, cozy and nearly perfect. The portable AC units were a must, however, as well as all of the fans provided. We gave the home five stars, because after we figured out how to manage the heat and air flow, we loved every minute of our stay and would definitely stay again!

This is probably the best vacation rental I've had. Location is wonderful for the north side. Proximity to the beach is unbeatable, and we really enjoyed having a backyard. The house was much bigger than we expected from the floorplans, and stocked with just about everything we could have wanted. The freestanding air conditioners were a lovely unexpected bonus. I almost don't want to leave a review so this doesn't get popular so we don't have trouble booking it again. I want to come back already.

This place is amazing. House layout is cool and the amenities (kitchen, beach toys, wifi, tv, etc.) are all well thought out. Clearly the owner cares about the property. This rental is essentially a guest house located right behind one of the larger villa style houses. The backyard is really nice as well, and very private.
Proximity to the beach (right across the street from a relatively private strip of Anini beach) is fantastic and cannot be understated. Presumably, you're thinking of renting this place for the beach and it will not disappoint - it is beautiful.. This area is especially good for younger kids (we brought along our 6, 4 and an 18 mo. old) because Anini beach has a large reef that prevents the surf from reaching the beach. Consequently, the water is both very calm (like a lake) and really shallow. The snorkeling is reasonable, lots of fish to see, but the coral isn't the prettiest.
Not really many things to complain about with this rental. As some of the other reviews have mentioned, there is no AC. There are many fans provided though. Personally, I like feeling the humidity, I'm visiting to experience that climate in full.
To summarize: This is an amazing place.
What a perfect location and semi private beach area. The house had everything we needed and more.

We were looking for a place for ourselves, our two adult children, and one of their significant others across from Anini Beach - this place is PERFECT! Lots of space in the main room of the house, with plenty of privacy in the rest. We're all foodies, and the kitchen was well-appointed with everything we needed - very nice appliances (including a rice cooker), lots of utensils/grilling tools, ample serving items - a quick stop at Costco right off the plane was all it took to be move-in ready! For the beach, there were several sets of mask/snorkel/fins in both child and adult sizes (we added an adult set to the collection, along with some extra snorkel keepers), folding chairs, mats, umbrellas, toys, a paddle board, and even a wagon to haul it all out and back. The ceiling fans and spare electric fans help keep things cooler at night, and between the speedy WiFi and an AppleTV in every room (each bedroom and the main family room) there was plenty of entertainment if it rained - just remember to sign out of iCloud and remove your email address(es) when you leave. Fortunately for us it didn't rain until the very last day, as if the island was sad to see us go. There are lots of books and things as well, but we were on the go most of the time and didn't avail ourselves of those. Fluffy towels and comfy beds a few steps from swimming with sea turtles - we will definitely be back!

The house had everything you could possibly need, from a super well equipped kitchen, laundry essentials, books and puzzles to all the beach equipment (beach buggy, sand toys, snorkeling masks, beach chair etc) - everything was there. The house has a beautiful back yard with a seating corner and a BBQ, so we often ate outside. But the best for us was the location directly opposite of beautiful Anini beach, we walked over to the beach several times a day, it's perfect for kids and very quiet. There are many trees to sit under in the shade, the beach is perfect for snorkeling or just playing in the water. Most of the time it felt like our private beach. We miss it a lot already. All in all it was a wonderful and special holiday in Kauai - thank you for sharing this beautiful house, we'd come back any time!

The Hale was clean and everything was as stated. Quiet and peaceful, Little road traffic on week days, Right across the road from Anini beach with magnificent views and shady trees. The beach was uncrowded and wonderful. Great Views of Kilauea Pt light and fantastic sunsets.
Fresh fish every night at the Blue Dolphin Market in Hanalei.
Big Tim's Burger at the Hanalei Gourmet is the Bomb, when washed down with cold Mai Tais.
We would definitely stay there again.
Power was off for two nights we were there and wasn't restored till the next day, but that was on KUIC not the owners. Internet was also spotty and didn't work consistently, So if you must work, have internet etc, need Netflix to survive.., you may want to check first.

This house was absolutely perfect for our stay in every way....except weather...we were completely rained out for 7 days! So we spent more time in the house than planned...but it was so comfortable & well equipped! We will miss the exceptionally comfortable bed mattresses....slept like babies!😉
The kitchen is so complete...even a Vitamix! There is Apple TV & Netflix for entertainment, lots of beach toys, water shoes in every size, boogie boards, masks, snorkels & fins, beach chairs & towels & even a SUP! Amazing & so much appreciated! The location cannot be surpassed! We would return in a heartbeat!

This place is just across the street and a few steps to beautiful Anini beach. There, the coral and rocks create a very shallow and calm area of 100-200 yards, so the waves break far out, and you can snorkel and find some nice fish as soon as you jump in! This stand-alone house is next to another property, but has lots of greenery and a great back yard. The interior is spacious, very clean, and has all amenities. We loved being able to have airflow without compromising safety, thanks to all the louvers. There are two bedrooms, two living rooms and two full bathrooms, laundry, and kitchen. More of a narrow porch than a lanai, but nice backyard with grill. This seems to be a realty agency that runs it, so there are a little less personal touches in the house than some properties. But, the house is clean, and nicely furnished and has great washer/dryer, dishwasher, tvs, etc. The town of Kilauea is very small and nice, and you are actually very close to Princeville/Hanalei, as well as Kapa'a, where you can find nice shopping, restaurants, grocery, and a nice long path to jog or bike along the ocean. We would not hesitate at all to recommend it. We were very pleased with the property and absolutely love this area of Kauai!

I traveled with my spouse, sister and my two kids ages 3 years and 8 months. It was the perfect home for us for 5 nights. I actually wish we had booked a longer stay here but we wanted to stay in poipu as well as the weather is usually sunnier on the south end. The home is clean, spacious, bedrooms are huge, light and airy. The house had everything we needed for our stay and cooking meals in. We used the fans and had the windows open and never found it to be too hot. The best thing about the home is the beach access. You walk across the street down a short path and you are there! Anini beach is beautiful with calm waters- perfect for little kids. We made good use of the beach toys, chairs, wagon, umbrella and was delighted to see a stand up paddle board! It was something we always wanted to try. The Princeville grocery stores and shops are close by too which is nice. We would totally book this home again for our next trip!

We spent the week before Christmas with our two grown children and their spouses and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The home was immaculate upon our arrival and during the week we stayed we never wanted for anything. The large living area was ideal for hanging out. The kitchen had everything we needed to do whatever cooking we wanted. Sometimes when you have a three bedroom one of the rooms is smaller and not as well appointed so someone ends up feeling like the forgotten stepchild. Not the case here. All three bedrooms were of similar size so nobody felt slighted. The home also provided just about everything you could think of for your beach excursions. While being right on the beach certainly has its advantages being just across a street worked out great from a noise perspective especially with having the entire house opened up to enjoy the breeze. The home's location provides plenty of opportunity to explore the island as little or as much as you'd like.
There are a few minor things in need of some attention but they are just that, minor and did not detract from thoroughly enjoying this home. If we should visit Kauai again we would certainly check this homes availability first.

The kitchen had everything we needed when we decided to stay in and cook and the BBQ was great for outdoor cooking. The living area was perfect for hanging out and the three bedrooms left nobody feeling slighted because they got the "small" bedroom. The two lanais provided great use of the outdoor space and bringing the outdoors in. While being on the beach has its advantages being across the street actually worked out nicely from a noise perspective especially while opening up the entire house to the breeze. If we were to return to Kauai we'd certainly check this homes availability first.

We love Anini Beach so this location was perfect for us. The beach was right across the street and far enough away from the main parking lot that we practically had the beach to ourselves most days. This beach was perfect for our young kids because it is calm and really easy to snorkel. The house itself is very nice and the beds were comfortable. The house had every amenity we needed (and more) and it was such a pleasure to have beach gear, toys, a large washer and dryer. We also loved that we could use the gas grill outside. We were okay with no A/C but if we were to stay again we may look for a place with A/C just because having the windows open let in so many bugs and geckos. All the windows/doors are screened, but the bugs and geckos still manage to find their way in. We had an issue with a lot of bees in the master bath (which felt like an outdoor toilet/shower), but the property mgmt was quick to address the problem. Something to note is that this is a small house behind a larger house. We were lucky there were no guests in the front house during our stay, but I can imagine the noise could be an issue if everyone has their windows open and/or people are talking outside. The internet was ok, a little slow to stream off of devices, but it was nice to have the option of Apple TV.

This rental is ideally located in the middle of the surf and beach hotspot Haleiwa—close to all kinds of restaurants ( especially close is the must-try bakery/sandwich shop, Waialua Bakery & Juice Bar, right next to the grocery store, and not very far from the beach—but at the same time, it is secluded, guiet and peaceful. Air conditioning was very welcome since it has been unusually hot (90+ in late Sept.). Many Hawaiian homes do not even have this comfortable perk! The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking dinner ‘at home’ or just making coffee and cereal. Beds are comfortable, and bedrooms quite large. Our only complaint is since it is tucked away, it is somewhat to find and the directions need updating. It was definitely worth this small annoyance and we very happily enjoyed our four nights here!

We had an outstanding stay. The home had everything we needed and more. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need for cooking, BBQ was also great. Home was in beautiful condition, with multiple lanais and very comfortable bedding. They also had tons of beach gear including chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling equipment including fins, etc. Aside from everything the house had to offer the location was amazing. Directly across a small path to the beach, and a small ocean view really made our stay. Anini Beach was great for snorkeling, swimming, and never felt too crowded. We can only hope to return to this home!

Spacious living area and bedrooms, plenty of towels, lovely linens, comfortable beds with plenty of pillows, and .well appointed kitchen. Don’t know how anyone familiar with the area (island for that matter) could expect not to have roosters as a part of the scenery (and sounds) - beats interstate or city noises any day in my book. We had fun playing, relaxing, and snorkeling at Anini Beach - saw several sea turtles and loads of fish. Enjoyed exploring the farms and markets around Kilauea, including The Farmacy. Ventured south to Moloa’a and Donkey beach on the way to Kapa’a to food shop. Eventually made it in to Hanalei (recent flooding kept us away) for amazing shave ice at JoJo’s. Mahalo for the lovely stay!

I was very pleasantly surprised to arrive and see the Anini Ohana Hale home. I was greeted with a vase of beautiful flowers and a note from my host welcoming me. I had booked last minute and wasn't able to access the 'reviews., which made me a little nervous. I'd stayed on Anini many times in the past but up the road and in a much larger place. I love Anini, the quit, the reef, snorkeling, and mostly the fishing. I was there to fish and came by myself. Conveniently, the beach access was at the end of the drive. The ONLY bummer was there were 'historic' rains on the North Shore that did extensive damage to the roads above Hanalei and the roads North were inaccessible. The home was very clean. The back yard canopy of trees was amazing, the lower canopy was no less amazing and the palm trees were beautiful. As with a lot of Hawaii, there were flowers blooming throughout the back yard. I just wished there was ground cover of some sort, like grass, instead of native soils. I love my tea in the morning with the sounds of multiple happy birds singing. I thought I was in an aviary, although, could have done without the roosters, but then, it wouldn't have been Kauai. The floorplan was just fine for me, a single person. It might have been a different story is it had been two couples since the second bedroom was just off the kitchen. We would have had to 'settle' on who got the main bedroom. I did love the master bathroom. Loved the walk in shower with open windows. Every night there was a breeze and the sounds of the ocean were GREAT for sleeping. The advance communication with Coldwell Banker Bali Hai Realty was great. Their packet had answered any question I might have had before I needed to ask. They left multiple phone contact info should a need arise. I did have question initially and the answered my voicemail promptly, both times. I would return to this unit and rent from Bali Hai Realty again in a heartbeat. I gave the home and the experience a 5 star rating. Mahalo M

Our family found this house to be perfect for three couples (parents and two grown sons with their wives). All three bedrooms are large and nicely appointed (very comfortable beds!) so there was no one left feeling like they got the "kids room". The living/dining/kitchen was perfectly sized and very attractive. We all appreciated the easy access to a very beautiful beach. Parking is tight for two cars. The location can't be beat and Anini beach is spectacular. The home is large enough for 2 couples even though it was just the 2 of us. The kitchen and bathrooms and the carpet could use some updating but fine enough. An update would make it truly a luxury place. The welcome flowers were gorgeous and a special touch. Bali Hai was friendly and helpful at every step of the process - thank you!

This Ohana is a great, island getaway just steps to Anini Beach. It is well equipped and laid out nicely for family gatherings! It’s a convenient stopping spot for your island excursions and a close drive to fine dining. Coldwell Banker Bali Hai is an excellent host assuring all needs are met. Many Mahalos! Oh! I have stayed in many vacation rental homes all over the US. This is by far the best one I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. To start the location is perfect - the beach is steps away. The kitchen is very well appointed. The WiFi works amazingly well (I am actually buying the WiFi system used for my own home). The beds are comfortable. There are numerous beach supplies provided. In short - we can't wait to go back!

Super clean home, stocked with everything from BBQ to beach toys to linens, towels, etc. Internet was fast, location is perfect, just a few minutes away from the noise of tourism, yet right on the beach. Fell asleep to the ocean breeze each night and the sounds of tropical rain and birds. Perfect vacation spot to feel private and truly experience Kauai.

My wife and I have only rented a few times on Kauai and this has been the best yet. The property was as described and well appointed. Stocked with supplies as if the owner were staying. Excellent condition and everything worked! The pathway to the beach is just across the street between the homes that front the beach. Best stay yet! Their app worked well, a bit busy but was very usefully. Bali Hai did an excellent job, from their property description to their paper work (on-line) and personable attention when we had questions. On our last trip a couple of years ago, we found out what a bad rental property and management company can be like - almost no bathroom and kitchen supplies, nothing to light the BBQ with, DVD / TV that wasn't working correctly, the AC leaking down the inside wall, property wasn't ready for several hours past the check-in time plus a few more problems with the management company not really being responsive. Bali Hai did an excellent job and sets the bar for a great vacation management company.

We took our family to Kauai in 2017. The stay at this location was nothing short of amazing. We got up early the first morning of our arrival and walked to the beach (a 30 second walk from the house) to catch the sunrise. It was spectacular! The view and the water were amazing. The kids snorkeled that morning and swam with turtles. They thought they were dreaming. The location on this quiet north side beach was just perfect. Besides being essentially on the water, we had easy access to Princeville, Hanalei Bay and the Napali Coast trailhead hike with all that they have to offer. Then there is the house itself. It was luxurious, but with an old Hawaiian feel. The sealing and floor wood was stunning. The appliances and rooms were modern, but still kept that classic Hawaiian look. We also used the adjacent house, which made it so spacious and comfortable for everyone. I think all my kids now what to live in Kauai permanently. It would be impossible to be disappointed in a stay at this location. Highly recommend it--obviously!

I wish someone had told us sooner that Anini Beach is far and away the best beach in Hawaii, that the water is Caribbean calm, that you can snorkel and see exotic fish starting the second you dip your goggles in. We spent the first week of our honeymoon at a slightly more rustic spot on the Wailua River and once we arrived here, we kicked ourselves because we instantly felt like THIS is what a honeymoon is supposed to feel like. The house is gorgeously appointed - and as newlyweds we learned our first traveling lesson together, as adventurous and easy-going as we are, it turns out we like fancy. Turns out "fancy" is a lot more romantic... This place has everything, it all feels brand new and once we arrived, we cooked every meal there because we didn't want to leave again. And once we return we know exactly where we'll be staying.

We've stayed in many places on the islands and this is by far the largest for two people. The home itself is down a private driveway which is directly across the street from beach access. When we first arrived we were greeeted with a welcome basket and binder with all the info we needed. The home has everything that we could have expected. We were happy to have a dishwasher, full kitchen and laundry facilities inside the house. There is a place to rinse off our feet by the driveway. All the back windows face the rainforest and the front windows face a row of palm trees. Soft sheets and the "outdoor" shower experience made it feel so much more tropical. We'll be back as the location was so private on our own huge stretch of beach and we felt like we could be off the grid, yet we were just a few minutes from shopping and restaurants. The resort areas felt crowded compared to our place, we even decide to walk through the trails up to Princeville one day.

Right off the bat we were very impressed. We walked into the property to find a welcome basket of goodies. What an awesome touch. I have stayed at many different rentals and this is one that I could honestly call home. The Wifi there was also very strong. I work remotely often so this was a big help to me and allowed me to bounce between my remote office and my vacation seamlessly. The beds were very cozy, clean and soft which allowed for some great nights of much needed rest. Anini Beach had amazing snorkeling and reef, the house even had a snorkel for our use. It is also close to everything on North Shore, yet just a few minutes off the highway for privacy. It had way more than we needed for a couple…it could easily handle 6 people with the two living rooms and the two bedrooms….we used one living room as our TV room. The laundry facilities, kitchen and home were stocked with everything we needed. We are already planning on being back this fall with some friends. Thanks for letting us stay!

The drive down to the the house itself is a gorgeous ride alongside the shallow turquoise water & black lava rock of Hawaii. The property is beautifully maintained & literally 75 feet from the ocean! I slept soundly to the steady noise of the ocean waves crashing. Woke to a gentle chorus of tropical bird sounds- parrots, doves, the Hawaiian Nene & of course, it wouldn't be Kauai if there wasn't the occasional chicken too haha. All marble master bathroom & huge adjacent marble hot tub & beautiful wood floors throughout creates luxury amid the unfettered beauty of lush tropical surroundings in this very private yet spacious, open air jungle bungalow setting. Massive skylight in the living room when you first walk in & good sized skylights throughout as well. Kitchen is more than stocked with everything you need to hangout & enertain. LOVED the welcome platter of various tropical fruits, coconut macaroon cookies, salted macadamia nuts. Enjoyed use of the snorkel gear & kayak they keep under the house. Neighborhood is quiet, sleepy, small town feel, friendly & nice. You can almost hear "Aloha" being whispered in the swaying palm trees all around. Shopping, a few nice restaurants & everything you need isn't far, the charming towns of Princeville & the world famous Hanalei is a mere 5 & 6 miles away.
