Neighborhood

This side of Waikiki puts you close to the beach without giving up Honolulu's energy. Walk to Waikiki Beach, the Duke Kahanamoku Statue, the Honolulu Zoo, shops, and a wide range of restaurants. The Ala Wai sits just inland, offering a different view from the surf scene, while Diamond Head is nearby for a longer shoreline stroll or early hike. It is a practical base for guests who want sand, food, and city life within reach.

A rental car is optional here because Waikiki and much of Honolulu are very walkable, and rideshare and bus service cover many other trips. Beaches, shopping, and dining may be steps away. Parking is typically through hotels or paid lots rather than free street parking.

Convenient location with an overview of the riverway and golf

Elaine · Jul 2026

Convenient location with an overview of the riverway and golf course. Easy to step outside and do a run, get to the beach, or walk a few blocks for a coffee. Host was communicative, everything was in working order, and it was an easy stay.

This home is located in a great spot, walking distance to so much in Waikƒ´kƒ´. It provided a comfortable stay while exploring Waikƒ´kƒ´ and Honolulu. The local staff are friendly and helpful and I would stay here again. We had a wonderful stay.

Almost perfect

Location ( close to Waikiki beach , shops and restaurants. Friendly staff . The A/C could provide for the master bedroom but couldn't do the job for the entire apartment . Le jacuzzi at the bottom of the building was not operational . The apartment had clean sheets , tons of towels for either the beach or showering in your vacation home . .
