The appeal of this pocket of West Maui is how easily a beach day can stay flexible. Walk down toward the shoreline to look for turtles, use the on-site pool when everyone needs a quick cool-down, or drive a short distance to Kahekili Beach Park, Black Rock Beach, or Kapalua Beach. Ka'anapali's beach activity is close enough for an outing, but the setting here keeps the return home calmer. That mix suits a small family that wants ocean time without needing to fill every hour.

Transit

Getting around:
Kahului Airport (OGG) is about 40 to 45 minutes from the Lahaina area along Maui's west side. A rental car is recommended for beaches, shopping, and dining along the coast, including Kaanapali and Kapalua. Nearby beaches may be just minutes away, but most destinations require driving. Parking is typically available in designated lots, though popular beaches and restaurants can fill up.

Fabulous view. We love how quaint Mahina surf is. Great location, fun to see the turtles. We love the access to the bbq for cooking. And it feels like a paradise home away from home. We love it here and will be back

This was a great location right on the water. Condo was fully stocked with everything even a little cooler, wave boards and chairs. Made it convenient to go to the beach or do whatever. The best part was the Lanai you could see the whales right from there. Perfect location and the pool was really really nice. The ocean breeze flow through and it was really reasonable for the number of nights that we stayed. Great, centrally located with a lot of stuff to do in the area. Would stay here again.
