Fantastic location, unbeatable spot for sunsets and wonderful access to grounds given ground level apartment. Host was very responsive and quick to help when we needed help. Airbnb had everything which we needed (including a lot of towels, beach gadgets, kitchen utensils etc).
The apartment itself is quite dated and the AC is too loud to sleep with which makes it an uncomfortable sleeping situation given heat and humidity in Kauai.

This is now our new favorite condo at Pali Ke Kua. The views are incredible and the location is perfect. The bed is comfortable and the air conditioner in the bedroom keeps it very comfortable. There are lots of fans in the living area to keep cool. This is a very walkable area whether going to hideaway beach, Hotel one, a walk around the golf course, the Princeville shopping center, the library. It is truly an ideal location. Communication through Vacasa was excellent. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone wanting to stay in the Princeville area.

From the time we arrived, we spent every evening on the patio for the sunset. This home provided everything anyone needs for their stay. We stayed for 9 nights and couldn't have been any happier. For those visits in the warmer months, the AC is a portable unit that is in the bedroom. While you are out of the home during the day, draw all of the blinds to assist with keeping the living room and kitchen cool. If we ever make it back to Kauai, we will try and book this home again.

This unit had everything you need for a relaxing stay. The view of Pali Ke Kua is breathtaking. The AC in this unit is a portable unit that is located in the bedroom. It provides adequate cooling for the bedroom after at least 2 hour run time for a great night sleep. With the sun setting and coming through the windows, make sure you keep the curtains pulled to keep the living room, dining room and kitchen a little cooler.

My wife and I enjoyed the first part of our honeymoon at this condo. It’s well located (about 10 min from downtown Hanalei), small but cute, and has a great view of the mountains / ocean. The community is quiet, and it was a peaceful place to relax. I would note that by renting with Vacasa, you get the pros and cons of working with a management company. For example, their customer service was helpful, but curt & automated in emails about early check in / check out. On the plus side, when we had questions or needed help, they have 24/7 text & phone support that’s very quick to respond. Otherwise, we were happy and had a good time.

Just the view from the back porch is enough to make us want to come back! We loved this property, and it had everything we needed. Keep in mind that there is only AC in the bedroom, so keep that door shut to keep the cool air in. Other than that, open the glass shutters and enjoy the ocean breeze!

We were very happy with this property. First, the view is absolutely unbelievable. The condo was very clean, it was well stocked with everything we needed, and super comfortable. The AC in the bedroom was terrific. The living space was very comfortable with the doors open and fans on. I would absolutely stay here again. Parking was also very easy and there was never a struggle to find a spot.

Great kitchen with everything you could want for a vacation rental. Parking was easy and always available. The AC in the bedroom is great but the living space was nice and comfortable even without AC. Just open the doors, turn on the fans and it was lovely.

We wanted to be on the lush North Coast, close to Hanalei/Nā Pali and all the great hiking/boating/exploring in the area. This was perfect. Well-appointed, clean, comfortable... with a view that rivals the best in the area! Wow! Lanai / back lawn is a perfect spot for a sunset cocktail. Next to a short, paved path down the hill to basically a private community beach... just awesome! Short drive to all Hanalei has to offer- dining, cool local shops, shaved ice!, kayaking, surf lessons, etc. etc. Would stay again for sure.

Truly a gem as far as North shore view and locations. The AC was not enough for the unit as it is west facing so you get the afternoon sun. There was also the wrong keys when checking in so took a while to contact support who was very confused and acted like we were checking in too early (for a manual lockbox) and we were past the check in time. Could just tighten it up a lot more.

If you can, be sure to walk down the paved path to the beach—it’s steep, but it’s absolutely beautiful! The condo was clean and lovely, had everything we needed, and was perfectly situated to see the mountain at sunset. The mattress was soft for us, but others might like that. It is an older property and future renters should consider the fact that the AC is only in the bedroom. Afternoon sun can heat up the living room area. This unit offered so many amenities. Washer/dryer, A/C in the bedroom,dishwasher, 2 TV’s and beach gear just to name a few. We really appreciated the attention to detail. There was a nightlight in the bathroom, high quality toiletries, laundry detergent was provided, there was a local guidebook on the coffee table and a Sonos speaker in the living room. We felt very pampered and the view was to die for.

Location is perfect. Short drive to Hanalei and able to get away from the busy town. Beautiful view, prime location, didn’t even notice the lack of AC in the living room in August. Would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful home. Well maintained and appointed. Better than advertised…. And the views… simply stunning. Cannot get a better view in Princeville. Very close to beach access, but it’s a steep walk down… and then back up… Short drive to Hanalei. We had an amazing time.

This well appointed rental allowed us to watch the sunset right from our own unit. We loved the location, the pizza and salads at Hideaway Pizza was a great close location for food. We had an issue with the screen, freezer and washing machine that was quickly addressed. The kitchen has everything you need to live like you do at home, including a coffee bean grinder, coolers, etc.

This condo is lovely with a beautiful view. Perfect for two people. We thoroughly enjoyed this place for our two weeks in Kauai.
There is a special kitty that adopted us during our stay. She is a stray, grey and white tabby........and so sweet. I fed her regularly and named her Waikiki. I tried to take her back to the states with me; however, Southwest doesn't allow Hawaii cats or dogs on their airline. Please be kind to her and show some compassion. It's only human.

Small but well appointed place that worked for our family of 4 with two school aged kids. There is a pull out couch and there are also two twin air mattresses in the closet. The view was simply breathtaking just like the pictures and worth going with a smaller place.

The view right out the front was epic. The large windows and sliding glass door were perfect. The private beach amazing. Easy check in and check out and parking. Pizza place and grocery store were super close and multiple other options only a few more minutes away. Will def return.

The view is the best! Great sunsets and a nice morning coffee spot. Be aware that when the listing says A/C it is in the bedroom only…. Portable unit that only cools the bedroom…Pool area is nice and was not crowded at all when we used it.

The view is unbelievable and offered beautiful sunsets. Because the unit faces the western sun, it gets very hot in the living area as the small AC in the bedroom doesn't cool the whole condo. The staff was extremely helpful and provided us with a portable AC unit we could use to help keep our baby comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The view alone is worth every penny. The condo was exactly as the pictures show. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was very comfy and the beach chairs and umbrella made it easy to beach hop. Only downside was neighbors upstairs were a little noisy but hey they passed on some breakfast food upon their departure so it all worked out. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautifully appointed condo with a view that’s to die for. Every day we were able utilize the beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, and boogie boards. The view from the condo was breath taking and allowed us to watch for whales all day and enjoy spectacular sunsets every evening. It is rare these days to find a property that matches expectations, the photos and the promises of a website. This place did it. And even though we had a breakdown with one of the appliances right before Thanksgiving, the customer service staff took care of us like no one did ever before. We loved it, and we recommend it.

The moment you step in to the home, Condo, you know you are in a Magical Place, the views are incredible, the quality of the Condo and Furnishings are first class, the first thing we both said was we could live here, love the end of the road privacy, sunsets are amazing, unfortunately we had to leave and go home, but, we will be back, safe travels everyone, book it if you can, you will not be disappointed, the property management team, Vacasa were amazing.

Great, updated and fully provisioned condo. The location is awesome with unbeatable views. Close to Hanalei and the Napili coast. Close to lots of easy-to-get-to unpopulated beaches. Dig a little and find these gems. They are worth the time and effort to find.

Our postponed honeymoon was worth the wait for this amazing property! The views are second to none and the location is perfect with a walking path to a great little beach for snorkeling (we saw tons of turtles) and soaking up the sun. The unit itself is modern and designed perfectly. Don’t forget about the A/C in the bedroom! It made for much more comfortable nights then out prior rental in the area that did not have A/C. Would love to stay here again.

Our stay here was great. Super clean and comfortable and stocked with beach gear. Amazing views of Hanalei, the mountains and the ocean right off the lanai. Princeville didn’t exactly feel like authentic Hawaiian living, but still put us close to many breathtaking adventures on Kauai’s north shore.

We had a perfect stay. The location and view were amazing. The air conditioning in the bedroom was a must have. The condo was stocked nicely. TVs were a bit of a challenge so we weren’t really able to use them, but it didn’t affect us too much. Thanks for making our vacation lovely.

It's just so nice to wake up to that view every morning! I will say the A/C in the bedroom is loud (and they should not have it on a 6 hour time limit given a healthy night's sleep is 8 hours...). If I were them I would change that. Our pool access key didn't work, but vacasa quickly got us a new one, so that wasn't a big deal. But otherwise it was as-advertised.

The property thankfully has ac in the bedroom which was great because it was very hot, rainy and sticky for many of the days we were here. The view is spectacular and the sunsets are a total dream!! This place has everything you need and the owner even added a AppleTV while we were here which was so very kind since we hit some rainy days and nights. We loved grilling fresh fish and morning coffee and evening cocktails on the patio. Watching the birds was also a great pleasure and we had many come and visit us every day. My only complaint is that whoever was staying upstairs from us were either very loud or the walls are just really thin.

This is a very nice, 1 bed, 1 bath condo in a great location. The décor was attractive and comfortable, the bedroom and bath very nice, and the view is awesome. The location along the cliff and close to the trail to "secret beach" is great. The walk down and back up to the beach takes 5 - 10 minutes and will have you breathing hard, but is well worth the effort as the beach is beautiful. The condo is located near the Princeville resort, close to the Makai Golf Course, and is about as good as it gets in Princeville. Hope to make it back soon.

The condo was well stocked, bed comfortable, and communication with Vacasa was excellent. Everything was as it should be. The location in Princeville was great. From the condo it is only a short 5 minute walk (downhill) to a beautiful, uncrowed beach and Hideaways Pizza has good pizza closeby. Would definately stay here again and rent through Vacasa.

The owners have equipped the unit with everything you may need for a day at the beach or a romantic dinner. There are beach towels & chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and a fully stocked kitchen with every amenity you may want to use while cooking. You can hear the waves crashing from the surf below as you take in the sunsets from your living room couch. It was great having a private washer & dryer in the unit and the king bed was plush & comfortable. The owners have really gone above and beyond to make sure all guests are comfortable when staying here. I cannot thank them enough for that! Vacasa was wonderful as well! There were fresh Hawaiian flowers on the table and the unit was spotless. I would recommend this unit and Vacasa to anyone. We had such an amazing stay we can't wait to go back to Pali Ke Kua!! From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. The music was playing, the house was clean, and the owners had clearly spent a lot of time trying to make things as convenient for their guests as possible. The bed was super comfortable as well! To top that off, the location is perfect for a sunset or morning viewing of the water. Would highly recommend staying here! Already missing it!

The sunset views are incredible from most of the units in this development. This unit bldg location eliminates walk by traffic as you are the Bldg closest to the St Regis...the beach path is the other direction. It’s definietley a climb back up the path but it is paved which is a luxury in Kauai. This particular unit has been updated and has every accommodation you would need...beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, mats, towels. Unit was well appointed with uplighting...large den mirror reflects amazing view. It’s Hawaiian beachy but with all the modern conviences you would expect including an AC unit for bedroom.
We had to rearrange our schedule because of Hurricane Lane...choosing to ride it out in Kauai instead of making our Maui connection. Unfortunately the unit was already booked so we chose to remain in the same complex two bldgs up from this unit.
The comparison is night and day...do your home work when renting at Pali Ke Kua...most have great views...this unit has it all.

We spent a week in Princeville. The condo was absolutely fantastic, Hideaways Beach - great for snorkeling (fish and turtles) just a few (steep) steps away. The weather didn’t play along with our plans, though (closed roads after floods in April and too much rain during our stay), which means we have to return rather sooner than later in order to hike the trails and snorkel at our favorite beach again.

We reserved the condo to attend a destination wedding in Princeville. The unit has a lovely view of Hanalei Bay and a great sunset view which unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy as the days we were there were overcast. The condo was well appointed and very clean. The managers were super attentive. A representative was on site when we arrived and noted that the patio screen doors were not moving smoothly. She ordered maintenance right away and the repair was taken care of the next day. We had other members of the wedding group visit us and all remarked that they would book this unit in future trips.

The condo was fantastic, great ocean views. It was a bit noisy with being a little close to the main road but nothing too bad. The condo was perfect for 2 people and Lisa was awesome getting back to with with any concerns I had. The walk down to the beach below is steep and really not much of a beach as it is very rocky and the Bbq area isn't worth the trip down. The condo does come with it's own BBQ so cooking at home is a better option. Although the unit it self wasn't very well stocked with simple things like leftover spices and foil and such like other condo's we've stayed in, overall it is a great place to stay

When we arrived there were greeted by gorgeous fresh flowers on the table! That set the tone for a perfect visit. The condo is exactly as advertised - great amenities, comfortable, attractive. The view is unmatched. We were fortunate to see Bali Hai in the distance in ever changing light - glorious sun, dramatic stormy skies, filtered rays of light beaming on the mountain, and even a rainbow one day! We were I’m Hawai’i during the super, blue, blood moon. We got up at 3 am to witness the spectacular lunar eclipse in the yard outside the condo. We enjoyed taking the beach chairs, snorkels and masks that were provided at the condo to the beach. It was a great stay and I highly recommend this unit!

We have been enjoying the condos at Pali Kekua for years, but never have we had the grand ocean view that we experienced at #102. One can pretend to sit on the veranda of an ocean liner but here one gets the mountain views a well as the ocean surroundings, plus the lush vegetation right off our lanai. And the birds! The condo is beautifully furnished indicating an owner with excellent taste (or a gifted interior designer, or both) If one has stayed at rental condos that often are furnished at a Salvation Army thrift shop, this is not the case here. Everything is done right. Bali Hai Coldwell Banker has done an excellent job dealing promptly with clients' inquiries,questions or the little issues that may arise in the course of a three week stay. We give them high marks as well. So, enjoy Pali Kekua, it's a joy rain or shine and be sure to have a conversation with the resident Nene geese. Tell them Peter sent you:o)

We loved our stay and would highly recommend this condo. It's well appointed (kitchen has everything you could need), very clean, comfortable and you cannot beat the views or location. We loved sitting on the lanai, walking around the area, walking right down to Hideaways beach, and so much more. It was great to have beach accessories to borrow - a major asset so you don't have to waste time renting. We will definitely try to stay here again. While we didn't have any noise issues as some others have noted, the walls are thin and we did hear our neighbors upstairs and next door from time to time. I think that's just life being in a condo complex and it certainly wouldn't stop us from recommending this place or coming back! At no point did noise impact our enjoyment. Note - they didn't supply any shampoo/conditioner/etc so be sure to bring some. And if you're coffee drinkers, stop on your way in to pick up beans - there's a coffee maker but no beans. Thank you for an awesome home away from home! Mahalo.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights for our honeymoon in October. The place was wonderful and perfect for us. The kitchen was perfect for making our own breakfast and lunch. They also had beach towels, chairs, boogie board and snorkeling gear available to use. It was very clean and the management was extremely helpful with all of our requests. There is an air conditioning unit in the bedroom that kept us cool at night and during the day we were comfortable with out it. The view from the lanai is breathtaking. The unit is the second to last one so it felt very private. We could hear the neighbors above us pretty well but we didn't spend a lot of time in the condo so we were never bothered. The location is perfect for exploring the north shore. It's right near Queen's Bath (visit at low tide) and Hideaway's Beach (treacherous trek but worth it). We felt the North Shore had much more of a rain forest feel than the South Shore. There are several great hikes in the area. It is about a 20 minute drive from Hanakapiai Beach and Falls - our favorite hike. It is also about 10-15 minutes from Hanalei which has several great restaurants and shopping.

This is a great property with the best view of Hanalei Bay and sunsets. Beautifully furnished, clean, and had all amenities we would ever need. Every day we enjoyed breakfast and a glass of wine at sunset on the lanai. Boogie boards, beach towels, and snorkeling gear were very much appreciated. We are very happy that we made a decision to stay here for our vacation.

Everything promised was spectacular. Very unusual to have 2 recliners but highly appreciated. The only improvement I could have wished for was upholstered arms on the recliners but that is a very very small thing. Mostly the wonderful view above the bay and clear snorkeling at the bottom of the path were greatly appreciated. Scuba diving at Tunnels and rainforest environment were also terrific.
