Transit

Getting around:
Kona International Airport is roughly 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive up the Kohala Coast. A rental car is recommended to reach beaches, restaurants, and the resort area's shops with ease. Waikoloa Beach Resort keeps some shopping and dining walkable, while nearby beaches and Waikoloa Village are a short drive. Parking is generally available in resort lots or on site at most properties.

The accommodations were amazing. The setting was right on a golf course with the ocean and a perfect sunset every night. The pool and ocean club were amazing. With an incredible gym with perfect ocean/lava field/cliff views. Couldn’t recommend this place more.
** we booked under a different management company. Our reservation was canceled and we had to rebook under a new management company. we may have been the first reservation under this new management, which made communication really difficult. The new management was unaware of some resort fees and other specifics regarding the property. The new management company sought to communicate as clearly as possible, and make things right.

This unit is exceptional with beautiful interior furniture and decor as well as ocean views from the lanai!! We absolutely loved having all the space for our family of 5 to spend the week in Hawaii. The house was well stocked with everything you need to bring to the beach for a day in the sun. Our three kids appreciated the boogie boards for riding waves at the beach and we loved having chairs and umbrellas. We would definitely stay here again on another trip to Big Island. Loved close proximity to shops in Waikoloa and all our favorite beaches but the clubhouse and pool at the ocean edge were reason enough to stay at Hali‚Äôi Kai. Kids absolutely loved the pool and hot tub. Definitely a condo worth renting for your Hawai‚Äôi adventures!!

The location is great!! Loved spending time on the patio, seeing all the greenery and beautiful ocean! Kitchen is well stocked. New Beach Chairs!!! The pool area bar and restaurant are absolutely wonderful!! We‚Äôve already booked again for next year!
