Neighborhood

The neighborhood:
Waikoloa Village sits inland from the Kohala Coast, where golf fairways, cooling trade winds, and a quieter local rhythm replace the crowds. The Village Course and village conveniences are nearby, while Anaeho'omalu Bay and the resort shoreline are best reached by car. Down at the coast, A-Bay offers a sandy place to swim and spend the afternoon, with restaurants and shops close by at Waikoloa Beach Resort. It is a relaxed area for travelers who want a peaceful place to recharge between beach outings.

Transit

Getting around:
Kona International Airport is about 25 to 30 minutes away by car. A rental car is recommended for reaching coastal beaches, resort shopping, and dining from this upcountry golf community. The village center offers a few walkable shops and eateries, while beaches and larger resort areas are a drive away. Parking is typically available on site or in nearby lots.

We loved staying here and will definitely stay here again. Love the layout of the unit and all the extra amenities in the kitchen and items for the beach, I.e boogie boards, chairs, cooler, umbrella, etc. The price was excellent value. Thank you
