The neighborhood:
Poipu is one of Kauai's most walkable beach neighborhoods, with warm South Shore weather and plenty to do without a long drive. Brennecke's Beach and Shipwreck Beach are nearby, along with Poipu Beach Park for swimming, sand, and snorkeling. Restaurants, coffee, and local shopping are close enough to make dinner out easy. The area blends resort convenience with leafy garden pockets and a relaxed coastal pace. It is a lovely base for families who want their beach days, meals, and small adventures close together.

Getting around:
Lihue Airport is about 30 to 40 minutes away, a pretty drive across Kauai's south shore. A rental car is recommended to reach Poipu's beaches, Koloa town's shops, and nearby dining with ease. Old Koloa Town is walkable for boutiques and restaurants, while beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. Parking is generally available on site or in small lots around town.

Additional highlights include a king bed primary suite with its own TV, bathroom, and access to the lanai. A beautiful, custom wall-mounted Murphy bed is also featured in the home, complete with a premium Casper queen-size mattress for added comfort. There is also a twin sized ottoman sleeper bed for additional sleeping space. This home also features high-speed WiFi and a private washer/dryer as well.
