Islander on the Beach 170

Sehr schönes Appartment,
zentral gelegen, Kapaa hat viele nette Restaurants, nah am Flughafen.
Wir waren schon das zweite Mal in der gleichen Anlage!

The vibes, location, everything about this place was perfect. Mahalo for this special place!

Super easy to get to from Lihue- about 10-15 min away. The place was super clean and the beach was about 100 yards away. Bottom floor so easy access. Able to see the ocean from the Lanai though not full view. The gardens are beautiful and obviously well maintained. I highly recommend this place and will certainly return in the future. Aloha!üôè

The condo was just perfect! Ground floor you could just walk out back and go to the pool or beach. Very convenient location! We love this condo, we will be back.

Landscaping was wonderful, beach very peaceful and private. Loved the area. Stores and places to eat very close to resort.

Beautiful property, very nice room with everything we needed!

You can't beat the location and the affordable rate. We stayed for 2 weeks and had no complaints, staff were very helpful when needed! Even got 2 beach chairs to use, which was a nice surprise. Gorgeous beach access, great location, clean (and cold) rooms!

Although I was off property most of the day and unable to enjoy all the amenities, what I was able to take advantage of was great. The landscaping and condition of the room, furniture/equipment, and property were outstanding. Islander on the Beach is definitely on my "must-return" list! Mahalo!

Room was nice but dull decor with no color. At little expense a colorful bedspread would help

I stayed at the Aston Islander years ago and was happy that it is still well maintained as a plantation style property. Ground floor unit 170 is CLEAN with two beds, a good location and a peek at the beach. Just a few steps to be sitting ocean side in shade. Wonderful place for star gazing. Studio room is compact with good bathroom. I was so happy to see 2 refrigerators, which I appreciated. Complex has a cool pool, HOT tub. So quiet, since 1-2 blocks from busy road. Surrounded by great restaurants and early music. Coconut Market is fun with farmers markets. Look for sign with schedule for hula lessons and shows. The Aston Islander is on the walkway trail to Lydgate park and beach. I truly enjoyed my relaxing trail. I biked everyday, North through Kapaa, then South to park and beach.

I loved being so close to the beach and seeing the ocean thru tropical plants and flowers. The sunrise often brilliant oranges and gold right at my doorstep on a lounge chair with my morning coffee, the lull of the ocean in the evenings and lovely cocktails if I wanted with friendly people from so many different states and countries.

Great location. Priced right. Pool and Jacuzzi were perfect. Bar at the pool made it better. Staff turned on the Bar Tv to be able to watch Soccer Semi-finals even though the bar wasn't open yet.

The room was very clean and there were snacks and treats when we arrived. The landscaping at islander on the beach was so beautiful we enjoyed walking the grounds and seeing all the different plants and flowers. We even enjoyed the chickens! The beds were comfortable the air conditioning worked well and was quiet. Slept great until the roosters woke us up ☺️

So close to the beach!

The room was very clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the atmosphere of the gardens and easy beach access....we watched the sun rise every morning. Thank for a wonderful experience.

We had a magical stay at Islander at the Beach #170. When we arrived the studio was nice and clean with thoughtful touches like locally sourced snacks for us (cookies and chocolate covered macadamia nuts!), and a charging spot for phones. The outdoor rear porch has a lovely table and chairs and a view of the sunrise over the water. We began our days early, walking just steps out the front door to a lovely cafe that made our morning coffee drinks (the cafe even has their own coffee roasting machine!). Then it was back to the studio where we walked just steps out the front door to the beach to watch the sunrise. Beach chairs and loungers greeted us on the beach with a gorgeous view. Also steps from the back door is a lovely pool, hot tub and bar. There are lounge chairs and also beds under palapas that are cozy and comfortable. At night the pool and hot tub are lit up in pretty blue colors, the hot tub is an especially pretty deep azure blue. We ordered mai tais, daquiris and pina coladas. So much fun without even getting in the car! For lunch and dinner, as well as grocery shopping we had all we needed at the Coconut Marketplace which is just behind the resort and easily walkable. After sunrise we drove a few minutes to Lygate park for early morning snorkeling. They have a protected enclosed beach area for snorkelers and young children. We saw a variety of tropical fish there each morning. The studio is located by a bike and walking path along the ocean - bikes are available for rent in Coconut Marketplace. The condo is also just a short drive from the airport which we loved! Highly recommended - so relaxing and lovely! We would love to stay there again!

Great garden landscape; Accessible to shops, restaurants and the beach!

This was a lovely retreat. The room was nicely decorated . The amenities were plentiful and included everything I needed for my 9-day stay including dishes utensils Etc. Close to the beach. Shopping and restaurants are in walking distance. I highly recommend this unit. Mahalo!!!!

The close proximity to the beach allowed us daily access to experience beautiful sunrises. Also within walking distance were shops, and Jojo`s shaved ice. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Nice place! Convenient to shopping, food, ocean, snorkel rental, just about anything you might want or need on your Hawaiian Vacation. The room was small, but clean and cozy. Grounds were well kept, and the pool was nice This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Basic hotel room but a great location! On-site contact not very responsive. We had to contact rental company to get concerns addressed. They were addressed quickly then. Location is top notch, & we really just needed a place to sleep. I would recommend a check-in with housekeeping as it had a strong smell of bleach yet wasn’t very clean This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
