Loved the condo. It was clean and had everything you needed. We loved the patio and amazing views. The AC was definitely a bonus too. Pool was great for kids and location was perfect, right by the snorkeling tours and a cute country store. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at Ma'alaea unit 305! The unit was cozy and presented even better than the pictures. The owner obviously knew what a traveler would need to enjoy the island! I loved that the owner left beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler for us to use during our stay on the island. The unit was clean and the service was great with Vacasa! The view of the bay was so nice and the winds were so refreshing. I would definitely put this unit at the top of my list if I return to Maui.

The place was super cute and quaint with decorations all around. The amenities were great, and we were loving the shampoo and conditioner. It's close to a sand beach, and right on a rock beach. We had 5 adults and a kid and it didn't feel too terribly crowded. We really enjoyed it.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Loved our stay at Maalea Kai 305, the condo was beautiful && the view was utterly breathtaking && will be booking another stay!! Only down side the parking was street parking….the entire parking lot was practically empty but we had to park on the street….other than that we had an awesome experience.

So happy with our decision to stay here for our first trip to Maui. The location is perfect, very central to all things to do but just far enough away to be peaceful. Walking distance to the aquarium and shops in Maalaea. Condo was clean, view was great! The breeze with just the windows and doors open was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals during our stay. We would definitely stay again on any future visits.

The condo is right on the beach and has a private area with lawn chair and private pool. The view from the balcony is exactly what the picture shows. We had a wonderful time and the place. Easy to get everywhere. Even thought the place does not have an assign parking at the condo but there's plenty of parking at the street. The place is quite and has everything you will need if you want to cook. It has a coffee maker and also a kuerig machine. Just need to get your own coffee.

Our stay was very pleasant, location was ideal. View was so beautiful ❤️
The area was a bit windy at the location.
Love the gadget that came with the home,
From rice cooker, crockpot, blender two coffee machines and ninja blender.
Feels like home.
Everything you needed is right at home.
I would say the only thing was the parking area. No designated parking for the guest. We have to parked by the streets.
Which was fine with us.

This place was amazing! We have stayed at quite a few short term rentals over the years and sometimes the pictures make it look better than reality--not so here! The views are spectacular! When we first arrived, we couldn't pull ourselves off of the lanai for the first day. Eating breakfast each morning with these views was unforgettable.
We were hoping for three things--a beautiful ocean view, a quiet, off the beaten path location, and easy access to explore the island. This had everything.
The apartment itself was pristine and appears to have been beautifully remodeled.
Although there wasn't a reserved parking spot, we did always find some nearby street parking.
By the time we were leaving, we were daydreaming of having a place like this of our own someday :-)
This will definitely be the first place we look up if we make it back to Maui again!

Comfortable and clean
Donna · Jul 2021
We’ve stayed at many condos in Ma’alaea. This condo was clean and very comfortable. It had the biggest kitchen we’ve seen and it was well equipped. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating. The dining room has an actual dining table that seats four. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms which is very convenient! No washer and dryer in unit but the condo laundry room is very close to the unit and excepts credit cards, so no running around to try and find quarters. There’s also a trash shoot near the unit. The grounds for this complex are large and beautiful! Also the residents are very welcoming and friendly. You can easily walk to the ocean center and harbor for fun adventures! It’s a wonderful central location to all of Maui. We love this area because it’s quiet and non-touristy! You will also enjoy the view from the balcony. If you visit in whale season November-March you will have the pleasure of watching the momma humpback whales coming in feed their calves. Checking in and out was also very simple. We would absolutely rent this unit again.

This was the perfect spot and distance from everything and best of all had an amazing view of the ocean and if you wake up early enough clouds permitting you can catch the sun rise too.

Anita A. · May 2021
The condo was conveniently located to all the surrounding areas of interest, with no drive too far. Views off the patio/lanai were awesome. Quiet complex. Lots of amenities in the condo, just need to look around inside cabinets and closets. The ONLY downside I found was that the floors could use a good scrubbing. Feet definitely got dirty walking around barefoot day 1. Otherwise awesome stay, would stay there again. 😊

Wonderful Condo with a Wonderful View
Taylor · May 2018
The condo was absolutely wonderful. It really felt like a home and had everything you could possibly ever need or want... from a fully stocked kitchen to beach chairs. The view was breath-taking and we loved seeing the turtles along the wall. Watching the surfers in the early afternoon was also a pleasant surprise. The last few days were pretty windy so it was hard to really enjoy the pool (mostly just getting out of the pool... the pool seemed like it was heated... so it was enjoyable in it.) Even with the wind, we would stay here again. Overall if you are looking for a private and quiet getaway this place will not disappoint!

Condo is really clean with great ocean front view! You can hear the ocean breeze from the bedroom. It’s so much better than we expected. Outside is also very clean and has a bbq area in front of the ocean. There were a lot of sea turtles right by the water. My little one enjoyed watching them. Great and quick communication from the host too. Highly recommend!

The resort was really well maintained and we enjoyed having two master suites. The location is very convenient to the harbor where we took a cruise. The linens and towels could have been fresher and we needed more bath towels but I think they were provided by the cleaning company. The location was very central so it was not a long drive to many areas of the island.
Quiet location on Ma'alaea Bay
Laura H. · Nov 2017
We stayed for a week at this condo. The kitchen was well stocked including Keurig and expresso coffee makers and a grinder. The condo was very clean and the condo grounds were extremely well maintained. The views from the balcony were of the Ma'alaea Bay but you could also see the town of Kihei and and sunrises over Haleakala Volcano. It is a very windy location. There are chairs all along the ocean where you can sit and watch the turtles surfing the waves (no beach here but close by).
The town is very small with a harbor, a few restaurants (recommend happy hour at Beach Bums), shops, a general store, and the Marine Ocean Centre. There is public transportation with a bus stop in town however would recommend a rental car. We found this to be a very central location with a 10 min drive to Kihei and 20 min to Lahaina depending on the traffic ($30 Uber). We really enjoyed our stay at this condo.

We had a wonderful stay here. The beds were comfortable and that includes the sofa bed. Waking up to beautiful sunrise above Haleakala and the sound of the waves lulling you to sleep were pretty memorable. The AC was a plus although we didn't use it much because of the tradewinds. Great amenities, including beach supplies that we used. Would definitely stay here again as the location of the property is almost in between Lahaina and Kihei. Virginia was great host. Kept us up to date with what's going on with the place so we could plan accordingly. Mahalo!

On top of the usual linen and kitchen supplies, you will find a pack-and-play, chairs, beach toys and supplies, sun screen, games, videos, and many other things to help make your stay memorable. The view is breath-taking, and the property is quiet and peaceful. Loved it!!
Great place to stay
Virginia N. · Apr 2016
We (two parents and a toddler) stayed in this wonderful condo for our week long stay on Maui. We were drawn to it by the affordable price, the view and the second bedroom. The view was wonderful to wake up to and finding a condo with a second bedroom was the best decision we could have made with the toddler. It was so nice to have him be able to take naps and go to bed early while we still used the common areas.
The condo was perfectly clean. The beds were comfortable. The decor wasn't the most modern, but it is well cared for. The kitchen was huge and fully equipped. We loved the espresso maker as there weren't any decent coffee options in the area.
At first, we were disappointed in the location as there are no beaches that are really great for swimming, snorkeling or boogie boarding within walking distance and its not the most beautiful area surrounding the condo. But within a couple of days, we loved being able to drive a reasonably short distance to both Kihei and Wailea to the south, or west to Lahaina and Ka'anapali area. We could hit all those in one day if we wanted. We had friends staying at the same time in Napili, and while their condo was on the beach, it was much smaller and they were really limited to the west and Lahaina, unless they wanted to drive an hour or more. We were also able to make it over to Paia for an hour or two, as it was only about a twenty minute drive and a fun town to explore.
The best part of the location for us was that it was walking distance to the aquarium. It's expensive to get in, but we bought week passes for not much more than a day pass. This was the highlight of my son's trip. We went three times and it never got old for him.
It is a pretty windy area and it was extra windy the week we were there, but it keeps the condo cool without having to use the A/C. The grounds and pool were very clean as well.
This was the perfect condo for our family for this trip and really met all our needs. It felt like home after only one or two nights. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Great for 2 couples

This is a wonderful location, convenient to both Kihei, Wailea and points north, like Lahaina as well as the road to Hana. Being able to watch the sun rise over Haleakala was inspiring and being close to Maalaea Harbor made it easy to get to both the Pacific Whale excursions and snorkeling trips to Molokini. We saw many turtles right outside the condo and loved the relative quiet of the location. The property is in excellent condition with many amenities (like an expresso machine) that made our stay very enjoyable. The only drawback for us was the lack of laundry facilities in the unit itself though it was on the same floor. We highly recommend this place and would go back the next time we go to Maui.
Wonderful condo to stay in!
Becky F. · Feb 2016
The condo was absolutely perfect! The floor plan layout was exactly how it was described, with an amazing view of the water. We were able to watch whales jumping in the water every morning from our balcony. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean and roomy too. The kitchen had all the necessities for cooking and eating at the condo. We really appreciated having beach towels and a small cooler there for taking lunch/drinks to the beach with us. This was definitely a wonderful experience for us all and would love to rent this one again on our next trip!! The condo complex itself was very quiet too, something that was surprising given the bedrooms were both facing outside, one on the main walkway and one overlooking the pool area. Two couples stayed here and were very comfortable and felt at home. The only downside, and it was a very minor one, was the interaction with one of the people who lives in a nearby condo. He stated we were too loud in talking when we were out on the balcony. We figured it was due to the air conditioning unit that we were talking over, but it wasn't even 9 o'clock in the evening yet so we didn't give him much credit for us being too noisy. We figured it was a condo owner who didn't like renters staying there. Other than that, everyone we ran into in the condo area was very pleasant and welcoming. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your condo!

Clean, condo had everything we needed, great view, great pool, and location. Enjoyed our stay here would recommend this place for people like us who like to relax. Would rent again if we return to Maui. Took the Four Winds II afternoon charter out of the Ma'alaea Harbor great trip, got to snorkel and see plenty of whales. Thanks for the rental.

This condo was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Great location for touring entire island! We enjoyed watching the whales while lounging by the pool, Old Lahaina Luau, Blue Hawaiian helicopter tours, Lahaina Produce and more. Owners are wonderful to work with! Thanks so much Carl, Michele and Elizabeth. Hope to visit again some day :) We highly recommend this condo!

Amazing. We enjoyed our week in your beautiful condo. Thank you for suggesting we order from Lahina produce. We were able to experience produce that we never would have known about. Your condo was stocked with everything we needed and more. We whale watched as the sun came up several mornings while we enjoyed our coffee, so glad you had binoculars for the show we got to see. New Year's provided us with a great view of all the firework shows on the opposite side of the bay while we celebrated with Hawaiian Pineapple champagne, You are centrally located to everything. The coolers made the road to Hana enjoyable since we could pack drinks, snacks and a picnic lunch. We felt like we had a private beach only a short walk away and we walked to our boat for our snorkeling adventure. We loved having access to a grill and easily sat six at your table for meals. No one wanted to go home when our vacation came to an end. Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful home for a week. We had six adults and never felt cramped.

What a terrific get-away. The beach walk was beautiful. We spotted several rainbows and even a whale leaping one morning. Turtles swam in surf in front of the condo. Spinner dolphins leapt where we snorkeled. In all of my trips to Maui, I have never had so many wonderful sightings. We loved the accommodations, the quiet of this part of the island. This beautiful condo was very comfortable and so well stocked that it was like home away from home. They seemed to have thought of everything! There is even a boogie board for vacationers. It turns out that the condo is only a 15 minute walk from the Maui Ocean Center too! We loved walking through the glass tunnel in the shark tank there. The sea rays skimming past and hammer head sharks gliding overhead. Very memorable. We drove to amazing snorkeling just past Wailea, on the way to the lava flow fields. What a great adventure! We definitely would recommend this rental to friends. In fact, we hope to return again.
Perfection!
May 2011
Our stay exceeded our expectations. The condo was tastefully decorated, immaculate, beachfront (turtles watched us BBQ!), overlooking the pool, lovely, lovely, lovely! The personal touches and notes from Carl and Michele made us feel extra welcome. We couldn't have asked for a better retreat location. We especially loved having great food nearby without the crowds. Some mornings we had the beach to ourselves. What a hidden delight, with the best-stocked vacation kitchen and bathrooms we've ever seen. Don't worry about forgetting anything! Too bad there isn't a choice beyond "excellent" because this place earned it.
A Haven in Paradise

The condo was everything it was advertised to be. Spacious, clean and well maintained. A gorgeous ocean view and we were able to see whales one morning even though it was late in the season. We will be back and will definitely recommend this condo to our friends.
Beautiful Condo! Great location!

The pictures of this condo do not do it justice - it is simply beautiful and what great views from the lanai! Ma'alaaea Harbor is a great place to stay being so centrally located. All within walking distance are very good restaurants, shopping, a market and entertainment. This was also a great location for going on snorkeling and whale watching tours. The Pacific Whale Foundation is an excellent choice if you want to go on any of these tours and they are within walking distance of this condo.
Again, what a beautiful place to be and stay! The furnishing were great, the beds were very comfortable and the ammenities were outstanding! MAHALO ~ MAHALO ~ MAHALO

Thank you for sharing your condo with us again. It was our second trip. The condo is very well equipped with more kitchen implements than I have at home. We also enjoyed the beach chairs, umbrella, coolers and boogie boards. We enjoyed the location --central to Kihei and Lahaina. And thanks for making arrangements for the fresh fruit and produce, that was a wonderful addition to our stay. Two teenagers especially appreciated the privacy of the second bedroom.
Hawaiian Spirit in Paradise
Aug 2010
This beautiful condo in paradise was the best we have ever had in Maui. We've been there 7-8 times. The location was so great, the condo was very clean, and the Hawiian art so captavating. In fact, I want to change my livingroom decor to Hawaiian.
The owner's provided such great customer service and were so nice to work with. The famous aquarium was within walking distance and several good restaurants also.
The king size beds were very good and comfortable. A lot of condos for rent do not have such good beds.
When we walked into the condo, it was even more elegant than the virtual tour on the website.
We've already told friends and family about this wonderful condo.
One of the most exciting things was to watch sea turtles feeding every evening from our Lani. That is such a special event for us.
Oh, what a week, next time it will be longer.
Mahalo for everything!!!

Before grandchildren (one on the way), our family decided to have one last get-together. Maui was the choice of the pregnant one. We gathered from California, Missouri, Kansas and Korea. The condo was fab--from the wonderful art on the walls to the extra lawn chairs and surf boards, Everything about the home away from home added to a fun-filled week. Lots of "extras" made us feel welcome and comfortable! We would recommend this as a place for retreat and renewal, fun with family, and R&R for all. Centrally located on the island, distances and travel time were minimal for anything we tackled. Ocean excursions could be taken from the harbor, laying on the beach, eating in nice resturants, were all within walking distance. Thanks for a great week!

Thanks Carl and MIchele for your beautiful condo. We loved the ocean view. Drinking coffe on the Lanai while watching whales was outstanding! Your home is beautiful, comfortable, and we felt the aloha spirit. The central location made it convenient for walking to the Pacific Whale Foundation, shops, resturants, and the harbor. We enjoyed our walks on the beautiful 3 miles of Sugar Beach. We took advantage of the pool and the amazing lawn right outside the door. We appreciated the supply of boogie boards for playing in the ocean. Your condo is quiet, relaxing, and a perfect place to vacation.

Aloha Tom and Dave,
It's hard to believe the trip we booked last Nov. is over and we are back to reality. Our 10 days spent in your beautiful condo in Aug. was one of our most relaxing vacations ever.Your little piece of Maui paradise was beyond our expectations. We loved Maalaea for its central, quiet location and the beautiful breezes. Oh, how I miss sitting on the lanai watching the palm trees sway with the water and Haleakala right in front of us. The grounds are so well groomed with the thickest, lushest lawns I've ever walked on. The park at the end of the street with miles of beach for walking was fabulous. It beats walking on the roads here.
Your kitchen is so well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We ate all our breakfasts and all but 3 lunches in the unit. What a savings that was! Even though it was just the 2 of us, we really appreciated the extra space. Also, the central AC was a must for us since John doesn't like humidity. The condo was so well decorated and spotless. The artwork and beautiful ceramics kept me mesmerized for 10 days.
We went Upcountry one day and got a different perspective of Maui. The views from there are beautiful and the air is cooler. We had lunch at Kula Lodge that day and browsed the Curtis Wilson Cost Gallery. He does some of the most beautiful paintings. It's worth a trip just for that reason. We saved The Waterfront next door for our last nights dinner. We definitely enjoyed every morsel of food. Thank you for suggesting it to us.
Your basket of goodies was amazing. We made very good use of most of it. We saved those great cookies for the very long , boring flight home. We enjoyed trying fruits we don't normally have such as papaya and star fruit. Really good! We loved meeting you and putting a face to the voice. Thank you for allowing us to check out later to accommodate our mid afternoon flight. We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone wanting a beautiful, clean comfortable place to stay. We hope to return again.

We had the pleasure of spending two relaxing weeks at this very well equipped and very clean, comfortable condo in late July 2008. This was our first trip back to Maui since our honeymoon 21 years earlier. We are now a family of six (Mom, Dad and 4 Children ages 8-20), but the condo slept 6 very comfortably. Maalaea Bay was an excellent choice for us because, while it is central to many of our daily destinations, it is a very quiet and relaxing area to make home.
The kitchen had everything we needed, and we only had 2 restaurant meals out our whole trip. Costco, Walmart and Safeway were all within 15 mins. of the condo. If you go to Safeway make sure you have a Safeway Club Card to maximize savings. The condo had other extras like coolers, beach mats and lawn chairs, which we used daily.
The Maalaea Kai complex has a beautiful view and groomed grounds and a lawn like a golf green. We particularly enjoyed sitting at the barbeque cooking dinner and enjoying a pre-dinner beverage while taking in the surroundings. The pool was in great shape and a wonderful respite from the heat in the late afternoon.
Most days we hit beaches from Wailea (25 mins. South) to Honolua Bay (45 Mins. North) and all places in between. Talk to Monica at Snorkel Bob’s in South Kihei and she will set you up with everything you need including Boogie Boards and maps of the island’s beaches. One of the highlights of our trip was swimming with turtles (Honu), as well as seeing the spinner dolphins on an excursion that Monica booked for us.
Thanks Tom for accommodating our late check out and the beautiful basket with all the flavours of the island.
We would highly recommend this condo to anyone planning a trip to Maui. We hope to return very soon.

What can I say? Our stay was from 5/18 thru 5/22 and I couldn't
have asked for a more enjoyable stay if I had planned it any better. Tom, your
place was more than I could have hoped for. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy
our trip without having to worry about all the little things. The goodies and
your comforts of home were very much appreciated. The views it provides were
endless. I enjoyed getting up in the morning and drinking my coffee outside on
the balcony while enjoying the sunrise and I must say, I took some really great pictures
out there. The rest of the island is easily accessible from there. We were able
to make daily trips to everywhere on the island without any troubles getting in
or out. I can go on forever with my gratitude but the one thing I must say is,
"I'd stay there again any day", matter of fact, we plan on doing this again and
you can bet I'll look this up again.

I just discovered this online guestbook for A Hauoli Kane Hale and had to add my experience and appreciation. I spent Christmas of 2007 there with my partner Elias and we could not have made a better choice.
David & Tom made us feel like we had our own home in Maui. They were attentive in that just enough kind of way: local blended coffees, tips on what was happening, spa slippers & robes and magnificent tropical flowers.
As a writer I had many inspirations sitting on the terrace absorbing the breath-taking view. I even put a photo of it on my January blog at focalizing dot com.
If you are considering a visit, you will find yourself in the best of hospitaity, comfort and natural beauty.

Hi,
I stayed here in the early part of June and had a
wonderful stay at this condo. The view was great,
and the space was so relaxing and beautiful. The
location was close to a lot of places we wanted to
go to, and the sunrises were inspiring each
morning. My artistic Muse was alive here. It was
more luxury than I would ordinarily choose to
pamper myself with--even if I was rich... (but I
shared the place with a couple relatives so it was all
good!) A big thumbs up to the experience as a
whole!

I had the opportunity to experience Christmas 2007 in the embrace of this
extraordinary Maui condominium. The views from the lanai--swaying palm trees--soft breezes--sunlight reflecting on the Pacific are deeply encoded in my memory...along with the the sweet island air and flora resonating all around me! The location of this condo is fantastic and the special touches of its interior
space held me in the aloha spirit for my entire stay....and followed me home to NYC!

We stayed at the property from 5/29/08 to 6/6/2008. It was a wonderful property and a great rate. It is centrally located on the island, you can easily reach any point within minutes. The pool is a really nice bonus with a great view! Some places we enjoyed eating are Mama's Fish House, Kimo's, Lahaina Fish Co. All had great seafood. The aquarium is so close and a must! It is a great place to get a break from the beach. Also the Road to Hana and a drive up the crater is breathtaking!

This condo is beautifully appointed and in a great location. There are a wide range of modern appliances, (including an espresso coffee machines, DVD player with a library of DVDs, and more TVs than we have at home) but mostly for us it was just a restful place to be after activities like diving and biking down the mountain.
We felt we were treated like friends, and highly recommend this lovely place. It is a long way from New Zealand, but it was well worth the voyage.

This condo has the perfect location. It is centrally located between both ends of the island, it is a very quiet & relaxing area, with a nice breeze blowing through all the time. The only thing you need is your clothes & food, everything else is supplied. It even has a laundry room on each floor with a small library in each one. There is an elevator for people who have trouble climbing stairs. The condo is very nicely decorated & very clean. Tom & David even left us a guest basket of fruit, candy, coffee, & misc. Didn't care for Fred's Mexican food, but Moose McGillycuddy's was good (Try the Lava Flow).

What a great place to stay, close to everything but not in the middle of all the crouds and noise. This was a girls trip, my 82 year old mother, my sister and I totally enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo. We had breakfast at the condo each morning before starting our action packed days. We went whale watching, went to the Royal Lahaina Luau, took a ride on the Sugar Cane Train, drove the road to Hana, stopped by the Garden of Eden, drove all the way to the top of the Haleakala National Park and had a picnic lunch, drove all the way around the west side, went to the Iao Valley State Park to the Iao Needle, spent an afternoon shopping in Lahaina and ate at Bubba Gumps Shrimp, went to the Maui Ocean Center and the Sugar Museum, went to Mamas Fish House for dinner one night...wow we really packed a lot into one week. The best part was being able to come back to a nice quite place where we could fix a meal and relax, read a book, watch TV, take a walk down the beach, or take a dip in the pool, before the next morning when we were off on another adventure. Thanks for a wonderful vacation and a wonderful place to stay!

Just came back from another wonderful stay in Maui. I believe that our decision to skip Kahana and try the Ma'alaea area was a very good one. You just can't beat the central location. A short drive to Kihei-Makena along with the same short drive for a day snorkling at Kaanapali Beach's Black Rock. With Costco so near, I cooked in the kitchen 5 out of 7 nights! It was equipped with everything I needed.
The HOA could use to replace the BBQ's, they are very slow, but other than that all was wonderful.
I HIGHLY recommend for a splurge, The Waterfront Restaurant, right next door.
Also, Aroma di Italia in Kihei was very good italian food...and from Italians, that is a good compliment!
We look forward to our return next year.

Tom,
We wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed staying at your place on Maui! Tina and I started our honeymoon here and were not disapointed. Your place is tastefully decorated, comfortable and well stocked. We appreciated that you had a few extras like a cooler, beach mats and lawn chairs for our daily trips. It was also very nice of you to take the time to patiently answer all of our many questions while we were planning our trip. The flat, wide screen TV's were a nice touch also, but I have to admit that we didn't use them too much, since we were always off exploring the island! The central location made our many sight seeing trips easier also.
We were a bit concerned when we had read reports of the area being very breezy, but we found the breeze to be very comfortable and slept each night with the windows open! Ahh, how relaxing! Waking up to the sunrise view was also a plus!
We hope to visit again in the coming years, maybe for an anniversary.
Thanks for making your place available for rent.

We returned last week from a magical trip to Maui with our grandchildren. They had never traveled, and our goal was to expose them to the joys of other places, cultures, etc. After a cancelled flight, and spending the first night in Oakland, CA, we were more than delighted to arrive at your beautiful condo. It was dark when we got there, so we could only see the lovely furnishings, and enjoy the sound of the waves through the open windows and door. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the bathrooms spacious. The kitchen had everything we could possibly ask for, and we put it to good use. Waking early the next morning, we found all the grandkids out on the veranda, watching the sea and talking in hushed tones. What a perfect experience for their travel initiation. They are hooked now! It was such a different experience from staying in Keihi, with the traffic noise and crowds. The beauty of the surroundings, as well as the nicest accomodations we have ever experienced in our travels, will absolutely bring us back again. We appreciate all of the correspondence with you Tom, and your helpful suggestions.

This was our tenth time to the Hawaiian Islands and our fourth time at Maalaea Kai. It was our first time in this particular condo and, I have to say, by far the best facility. The condo is beautifully decorated, well equipped and the view is spectacular. It is centrally located to all of the attractions and activities, yet secluded and quiet if you want to just relax. The grounds are immaculate with a pool and BBQ facilities.
It was the first time to the Hawaiian Islands for our neighbors and it was so much fun to see their reaction to the Islands and to this condo. First impressions are everything and there is no doubt in my mind this condo made a great first impression.
We have never experienced an owner who was so involved in the management of their property and who take an active interest in their guests; we have enjoyed our interactions with them. They were very accommodating.
Our intentions are to return often.
Thank you, for the beautiful facility and for your hospitality.

This was our first time in Maui so we were hoping that staying in Maalea was the right choice. For us (2 couples in their mid 50s) it was perfect. We found out that Maalea Harbor has the calmest waters of all of Maui and is located away from noisy streets or crowded beaches. Instead you have an immaculately maintained lawn & flowering shrubbery along with a beautiful ocean & mountain view. We really enjoyed the peace & quiet especially in the morning & evening. During the day we like to explore & found the Maalea location was ideal since it is centralized & never far from anything of interest. The topping on the cake was the accommodations which were very tastefully decorated with a nice personal touch. As mentioned by the other comments, the owners. They even had a Polynesian cook book with great recipes for local fish. When you rent this condo, you end up communicating with the owners who take a real interest in their guests.
Getting back to fish, if you time right, you can buy freshly caught fish in Lahaina from the sport fishing boats coming back from an outing. There are several boats that come in starting at around 12:00 to 1:00 pm daily. They filet if for you right on the spot. It will cost you half of Costco price or a third of what Safeway charges. Maalea Bay has fishing boats come in as well but you have to buy a whole fish (12-20 lb Mahi-mahi or 15 lb tunas). The captain will hoist a white or yellow fish flag to indicate they have a catch.

We had our coffee every morning on the Lanai and enjoyed the sunrise. At night we liked to watch the surfers on the waves out by the cliffs in front of condo. Your place is well equipped with snorkel equippment, dishes, towels, beach items, and art work. It is quiet and comfortable. You have alot of nice DVD's and CD's. We were not disappointed. We saw many beautiful fish, coral, turtles, etc. We liked going to Lahaia for the best shopping deals and fun night life. The art musuems there are OUTSTANDING!!! Had the pleasure of spending a week in May 06 in the condo. This condo was extremely comfortable, with many details that you don't get at many condo's. I come to Maui every year and have stayed at a lot of condo's that don't come anywhere near the nice experience we had at this condo. One of the most important to me was comfortable seating on the Lani. Spent every morning out there watching the sun raise, and every evening just relaxing. The view is outstanding, the complex is quiet. The amenities in the condo were above and beyond what you typically get in a rental. TV's in every room, a very nice DVD library, watched South Pacific which we hadn't seen in 20 years. I would have to say that staying at this condo, you will not in any way be disappointed. I will stay again, and refer any friends and family your direction. Thanks a lot Tom, for a wonderful week in Paradise.

My son, his wife, 2 children and myself(grandma) spent a week in the condo. It was great and really had every thing that you could want. Lots of DVD's, CD's, towels and beach equipment. We used the Ice Chest, Beach Chairs, Umbrella and all of the beach towels several times. We highly recommend the unit as it was quiet and in a location where there is no traffic. It is easy to get to any part of the island and especially to and from the airport. Enjoy

Tom: Great place, we really enjoyed it. Central location, away from the masses, great amenities, nicely furnished and you've got some great art as well! - we'll be back again next year!

We felt completely at home in your lovely condo, and you've furnished it
beautifully with every comfort. We enjoyed lounging beside the ocean,
listening to the surf and catching occasional glimpses of the whales.
The location is terrific, close to most things on the island, but yet
quiet and restful when we needed peace and quiet. We loved it and we'd
love to come back again! Thank you for your hospitality!

The condo & it's location were everything we hoped for. The condo was immaculate & had everything that we needed to have the perfect holiday. The location was perfect, tranquil and the convenience of being centrally located on Maui was great. Not too far to drive anywhere on the island. We walked the beach every morning after having our coffee on the lanai. And we sighted whales from either the lawn area by the pool or from the lanai almost every day. We will definately want to stay here on our next trip to Maui.

if peace and privacy, with access to all you need, is your goal for a vacation rental, look no further. Owners have attended to every detail, making this property as comfortable as our own home, right down to the makings of our ritual morning cappuccino. The difference from home? drinking it on our own lanai, while gazing at tall palms and unbelievably green lawns drawing your eye to the magnificent Pacific, just yards away...

…Immaculate condo...centrally located with easy access to all of Maui's treasures…
easy walk to sandy beaches, great restaurants, and shopping, yet far enough off the beaten path that our privacy and quiet were assured...
The views, especially of the ocean, are spectacular and visible throughout the house. They were a constant reminder that we were in paradise.
You are in touch with the needs of your guest with every possible amenity, even beach and snorkeling equipment, which saved us time and money by not having to rent them elsewhere.
We visited two islands on our Hawaii vacation. Maui touched our hearts the deepest. Your condo was the perfect Home away from Home. Greeting us each evening with all its comforts and extra touches you provided.
