This two-bedroom, two-bath with two-bed bonus loft is a Hawaiian-themed oasis surrounded by lush tropical gardens perched above its surroundings. The ocean views and trade-wind breezes are incredible throughout the house. You also have majestic mountain views of Mt. Houpu, known as Kauai's weather station. A glance out the window, and you'll know what the weather holds for that day!

The open-concept living area creates an inviting space for entertaining and spending quality time with family & friends. The fully equipped, updated kitchen has granite countertops and is a great place to cook gourmet and local fare. The dining room sits just off the kitchen and offers table seating for four and comfortable bar-top seating for four.

A smart TV, Nintendo NES Classic with wireless controllers, WiFi, laptop-friendly workspace, and plenty of USB's make this condo a dream for those technophiles in the group. Log in to your Netflix account on the smart TV and continue your series away from home. USB-dedicated plugs are available in all sleeping areas. Enjoy a tranquil sunset on the lanai with the adults while the kids play games.

The bonus loft with two twin beds is just a short hallway from the primary bedroom - great for kids!

Guests have their choice of two pools! The Makanui Pool (0.2 mi) is smaller and more serene. The Poipu Kai Pool (0.4 mi)is very popular, includes a hot tub, and is located steps from local favorite restaurant, Kalapaki Joe's.

Perfect location for our Kauai vacation

We loved our stay at Makanui at Poipu Resort. We were in Kauai on vacation with our son and his 3 friends, who stayed in the two bedrooms upstairs (my husband and I stayed in the bedroom downstairs). The condo was clean, close to the beach at Poipu, but also centrally located to explore all parts of the island, including the Na Pali Coast, Waimea Canyon, and the Wailea River. Plus, we had plenty of space to spread out. We would definitely rent here again.

Makanui 222 is located close to the ocean. We could see the ocean daily and walk along it on the footpath. We could walk to a public beach where we could rent snorkeling equipment and see fish and turtles. Makanui 222 is roomy with 3 bedrooms and the many windows let in the sun and the breezes. Fans in every room kept us cool. It was helpful to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Parking was ample and close to the unit.

It was like our home away from home. The location was great at a good price. The sunrises over the ocean and views of the mountains were awesome . Nicely located for neighborhood walks. The trade winds and interior fans made it very comfortable inside on warm days. Well furnished kitchen and laundry. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean, comfortable and beautiful view! Loved that it had all the home essentials needed to make the most out of our stay. It was so nice to have the washer and dryer in the unit along with cooking utensils along with beach necessities. Already looking forward to our next stay.
