Neighborhood

The neighborhood:
Sugar Beach places you on a long North Kihei shoreline with room to walk, swim, and slow down. Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge is nearby for a change of scenery, and Maalaea Harbor provides access to ocean excursions plus the Maui Ocean Center. South Kihei is an easy drive for casual meals, markets, and beach time at Kamaole Beach Park III. Families like this stretch because a quiet beach day and a fuller Maui outing are equally easy to arrange.

Transit

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

Love the mountain and ocean view was our 4th stay here in Sugar Beach. Vacasa was excellent in relocating us during flood. Bed was very comfortable and slept very well. Kitchen well stocked. Close to Highway but rarely heard it. Every stay I‚Äôve had at SBR has had hiccups but Vacasa worked hard to make it right and has succeeded!!

Sch√∂nes Condo mit allem was im Urlaub n√∂tig ist. Es war bei Ankunft Kekse und Kaffee da. Vielen Dank daf√ºr. Zucker usw war ebenfalls vorhanden. Gen√ºgend Handt√ºcher usw. Auch Sachen f√ºr den Strand, wie St√ºhle und Schnorchel, die wir aber nicht ben√∂tigt haben.

Entry was easy. House was clean when we checked in. People at the property were very nice. The text help was very prompt and helpful. AC worked good, bed was comfy. Would stay here again.

Does need some upgrades on a few items. The condo is always clean and the outside ground areas are always well kept. The heated pool area and hot tub are clean everyday(hats off to the maintenance people). The visitors and the owners are very friendly. Very close to the beach and walks along the ocean are great.
