Neighborhood

The neighborhood:
Maui Kamaole puts you at the south end of Kihei, between Kamaole Beach Park III and the start of Wailea. Kamaole III is the easy choice for a swim, a snorkel, or an unhurried sunset on the sand, while Keawakapu Beach lies farther south for a longer shoreline walk. South Kihei Road brings casual restaurants, coffee, groceries, and beach essentials within an easy drive. It is a sunny, practical South Maui base for families who want beach time to set the pace.

Transit

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

Strolling the grounds of this low-rise property, you'll discover tropical gardens, two pools (the lower pool is heated), a pool spa, tennis courts, and barbecue areas. Comfortably and elegantly furnished, this home provides many perks that include free high-speed WiFi, free cable TV, a DVD player, a washer/dryer, and a well-equipped kitchen. In-room safes are available. The spacious lanai offers spectacular views and a true taste of Hawaiian living.

Access

Guests at Maui Kamaole enjoy access to the resort's two pools, pool spa, tennis courts, barbecue areas, and tropical garden grounds. Kamaole Beach Park III is across South Kihei Road, making beach time easy to work into the day. The resort's low-rise layout has no elevators.

This unit had all we needed for out family of two parents and 3 teens. Clean and comfortable and we greatly enjoyed the lanai. Beach items such as chairs were a huge bonus.

The condo is beautiful with lovely ocean views, but set apart from S. Kihei Rd. so nice and quiet. While we didn‚Äôt use the beach amenities, they were a lovely touch. The entire condo had everything we needed and with new carpet and little touches here and there, it was just ideal for our short vacation. Mahalo nui loa!

We've stayed at Maui Kamaole several times and love it. This time was no exception. Close to the beach, well equiped unit, lots of little extras. Definitely recommend it!

Wonderful Kihei condo for our family

We loved our stay in this Kihei condo for our family of 5! The location was wonderful and was close to the complex‚Äôs pools and a short walk down the hill to the beach. We loved exploring Kihei on foot and via car during the week. What a great area! It also was a reasonable driving distance to some excursions we did during the week including a zipline tour, Maui Pineapple Farm, sunset cruise, and the beginning of the Road to Hana. Speaking of sunsets, they‚Äôre gorgeous on the beach area closest to the condo!! We packed a picnic and loved watching sunsets and letting the kids play in the water as the sun went down. Every meal we had at the condo was eaten on the lanai with a view of the mountain and water. The actual condo was comfortable and met all of our needs. I appreciated the cabinet with basic pantry items/spices/oils and the junk drawer with some essential household items! Condos that have this for guests and go beyond the basics are the best! Perhaps the BEST surprise when we arrived was finding everything in the outdoor beach closet! Literally everything you‚Äôd need for a day at the beach or the Road to Hana was in that closet‚Ä¶snorkel gear and fins, water shoes, beach chairs, sand toys, a wagon to haul everything, boogie boards, and coolers! All of this is stuff that‚Äôs great to have for a day at the beach but is difficult to travel with, and it was amazing to have it in the condo. Also, the welcome gift from Vacasa with local Maui items was a nice treat! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
