Neighborhood

The neighborhood:
Kihei Akahi puts Kamaole Beach Park II across South Kihei Road, so a swim, a beach walk, or a sunset on the sand is close at hand. Kamaole I sits about a half mile north for a longer shoreline wander. Cafe O'Lei and Moose McGillycuddy's are a short stroll away, with Coconut's Fish Cafe and the Kinaole Grill Food Truck nearby when dinner needs to stay casual. Two pools, tennis courts, and barbecue areas give you options without leaving the grounds.

Transit

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

This one-bedroom vacation condo features a private lanai, a cable TV, free high-speed WiFi, a washer/dryer, ceiling fans, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a complimentary, in-suite safe. A tennis court and barbecues can also be found on the property’s beautifully manicured grounds, in addition to ample free parking. Enjoy a cool swim in one of the two pools. Great shopping and a variety of restaurants are also just minutes away from your doorstep. AC in Living Room only. No AC in bedroom. Ceiling fans throughout unit and stand up fan.

Access

Guests at Kihei Akahi enjoy two shared pools, tennis courts, and barbecue grills on the landscaped grounds. Kamaole Beach Park II is directly across South Kihei Road, an easy walk from the complex. Elevator access and on-site parking are available.

The view of the trees and the ocean from the unit is what makes it special. The Akahi is in a great location in Kihei, close to safe beaches and stores and restaurants. Hopefully the old shag carpeting will be removed soon!

We stay in D507 at Kihei Akahi every time we come to Maui. The location is perfect with a walk across the street to the beach. The condo is comfortable and well appointed. We‚Äôll definitely be back!

A great place with a beautiful view to have morning coffee and watch whales or see a great sunset. The pull out bed was the most comfortable of the fold out beds I have ever slept on. It felt like a home and unique to Hawaii, which we loved and not just a white walled basic hotel room.
