**Please note: Restaurant Construction and Building Maintenance happening. There will be construction noise, particularly in the lobby area. However, any work will be restricted to weekdays between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, with no construction activity on weekends or holidays. The lobby bathrooms will unfortunately be out of service during construction.

Neighborhood

The neighborhood:
Mana Kai Maui Resort sits directly on Keawakapu Beach at the South Kihei and Wailea edge, putting soft sand and a long, walkable shoreline at the center of the stay. Begin with a beach walk, swim or snorkel when conditions allow, then follow the coast toward the restaurants, coffee, and beach parks of South Kihei. Wailea's beaches and dining are also close by. This location feels more beach-first than town-centered, which is exactly the appeal: you can make the ocean part of every day, then head out only when you want a change of scene.

Transit

Getting around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

Enjoy a beautiful wide view of the beach, ocean, and mountain from this corner condo! This retreat is a builder's condo. This means the builder who built the condo picked this retreat as their own because it was a corner condo and the nicest in the whole building. Specifically set up to provide the maximum amount of comfort and privacy, guests can relax with ease in this airy condo. Plus, you won't have to worry about neighbors, as these end-stack condos have no walkway outside the front bedroom window, providing privacy and unobstructed ocean views from both sides of the condo. Take in the beautiful views from your own private balcony, or enjoy the breeze in the well-furnished living room. The full kitchen is open in design and features full-size appliances and cooking tools to help you cook everything you desire for post-beach meals. Multiple ceiling fans will keep things feeling fresh, and guests can cleanse after a long day in a modern tile-inlaid shower. Pull the full drapes closed if you're looking for a deep sleep, or leave them open to hear the crashing waves through the night. Guests can also enjoy access to a shared pool, outside shower, and shared grill during their stay. There is a beachside store in the building for guest use.

Access

Guests at Mana Kai Maui Resort enjoy access to the oceanfront communal pool, hot tub, and fitness center, right on one of South Kihei's finest beaches. An elevator and disabled parking spot make getting around easy, and the beachfront setting puts the sand just outside. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.

The condo is great. Recently updated with comfortable beds and unbeatable ocean views. The property is small, but has a nice pool and a grassy area that leads to a sandy, kid friendly beach. There is a rocky area right off the beach that has great snorkeling and is a nice place to explore tide pools. A short walk up the beach path to the north takes you to a public boat launch where locals hang out. It is about a mile from Kihea- so technically walkable but we didn’t attempt it. There is a snorkel rental shop and a general store (think 7-11) on property if you don’t want to venture into town. Overall we had a great stay, but if you are visiting in 2026- be aware that the lobby is under construction. There is a lot of construction noise during the day; not an issue in the room because it is so high up, but can be heard at the pool. The lobby bathrooms are also out of commission. They are building a restaurant, so it will be an even better place to stay once they are done!

The staff were very friendly. Some construction going on, but it was not intrusive. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We will definitely look for options at this property in the future. If 701 is available, we would love to stay there again!
