Getting around:
Hilo International Airport is about 45 minutes away, an easy drive through lush upcountry forest. Volcano village itself is small and walkable for a few local shops and cafes. Parking is generally simple, available on site or along quiet residential streets.

Great location! Perfect property for our family of 3. The codes didn’t seem to work for the door, and the gate was confusing but other than that it was lovely! Beautiful grounds and quiet. The property mgmt was very helpful with the codes & getting into the house. Make sure to bring your own drinking water!

Great location just minutes to Volcano NP. The property is beautiful and gives the feeling of being secluded even though there is another rental on the property. The two comfortable futons in the living room allowed one of our kids to sleep there vs sharing a bed. The kitchen has everything you need but be sure to stop for groceries before getting to Volcano. The covered patio was great to be able to eat outside even though it was raining. Hopefully they replace the lockbox on the gate and fix the light near the gate.
