At Waikoloa Beach Resort, the pleasures are close together: A-Bay for a beach day, Queens' Marketplace for groceries or a casual meal, and Kings' Shops for another dinner option. The Kohala Coast stays sunny most of the year, and the resort's lava fields, golf courses, and old fishponds make even a simple walk feel distinctly Hawai'i Island. Snorkeling, boat trips, hula programs, and dolphin excursions are all easy to arrange nearby. This area is especially kind to multi-generation groups because there is something close by for every pace.

Transit

Getting around:
Kona International Airport is roughly 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive up the Kohala Coast. A rental car is recommended to reach beaches, restaurants, and the resort area's shops with ease. Waikoloa Beach Resort keeps some shopping and dining walkable, while nearby beaches and Waikoloa Village are a short drive. Parking is generally available in resort lots or on site at most properties.

We love this complex and this ground floor unit fit the needs of our family, especially our 6 year old grandson. We liked the closeness of the pool, workout center and nearby shopping, restaurants, beaches and activities. The unit is comfortably furnished with lots of options for indoor and outdoor activities. We appreciated the pool and beach amenities, including towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, toys, etc.

Situated on the golf course at the roads end, with a wonderful view of sunsets and short walk to pool. House was nicely laid out for families and cooking dinners. Enjoyed barbecue and eating in the outdoor patio.
