We had an awesome stay on Maui and absolutely loved this unit (would definitely stay here again).
The views are breathtaking (we saw a ton of turtles from our balcony and the sunsets every night were awesome)!
The unit has everything we needed--ac, washer/dryer, kitchen, etc. and was very well-maintained and clean!
The apartment building is immaculately maintained and has a swimming pool, outdoor grills, jacuzzi that were cleaned daily.
The best part is that you are on the beach where we spent most of our time with our 7 year old. You are a couple of minutes away from great snorkeling and that area of the beach wasn't as crowded as other beaches we visited. Strongly recommend.

This place was really amazing! The view was incredible! Waking up and going to bed everyday to the sound of the ocean waves was mesmerizing! The only thing I was say needs improving is the kitchen. It’s completely empty, not even pepper or coffee. If you plan to cook you will have to buy EVERY single thing you need. It would be convenient if the kitchen was better stocked with cooking essentials. Otherwise, this place was overall the perfect spot for our vacation!

Also, thank you to the person who put in the sun shades and tinted windows. So much nicer than curtains! Couldn't ask for more and we will be back!

This was a beautiful condo that really fulfilled all our needs in Maui. The photos are accurate and it has amazing views of the ocean. The location is excellent and walking distance to beaches and restaurants. It's also a short drive from many other great places in the area. The climate control for the condo is excellent with very effective A/C. There are some maintenance related issues that need to be seen to, and we found communication with Vacasa to be challenging when issues arose. I don't think this detracted much from the stay but I suspect some people would find this to be a burden.

This condo was perfect. Clean, comfort and nicely updated. Floor to ceiling windows and nice sized lanai had beautiful views of the ocean for whale watching and sunsets. The property was really great. Clean and quiet with a great swimming pool, hot tub and plenty of lounge chairs. Nice barbecue grills for guests to use. The location was great with a beach walk, plenty of restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed our vacation at this Maui resort. Hope to be back soon.

This was a great condo. Very clean and comfortable. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean were wonderful for watching the whales ( we saw so many whales). The lanai is a very nice size, great views and perfect to watch the sunset. The property is very nice. Great swimming pool and hot tub. Plenty of lounge chairs for everyone. When we walked in the door we were met with the most beautiful breathtaking view of the ocean! The furniture and bed is very nice and comfortable. We watched turtles swimming in the ocean right from the comfort of the living room. The TV's are on the small size and could definitely be larger. There was not enough silverware, bowls, or tall glassware so we had to run the dishwasher each day. It is in a great location and close to food trucks and a grocery store. There is not a beach in front of the property but there is one right next door. Over all this is a very nice place and I would recommend it.

Some pluses and minuses. The condo itself is spacious and very clean and beautiful views of the ocean. Location is absolutely perfect right next-door to Dukes and whalers Village. Negatives, there is very little stocking of anything to use in the kitchen, only salt and pepper. We did find seven cockroaches., that was unnerving. Would still recommend. OK

We absolutely loved our stay! It was whale season and we could sit and view whales for hours in the perfectly located 2 swivel chairs by the windows. The condo building is located right beside Duke's restaurant that we could walk to eat. It is also located right beside a boardwalk that you can take all the way to Black Rock and Whalers Village. We can't wait to stay again.

We loved our stay in 314. Perfect location for everything we wanted to go and see. Huge bonus is the walking path that starts at the building and goes all the way to Whaler’s Village. Also Duke’s is right next door. We would love to stay there again.

What a great week!! Cannot tell you how many whales we saw from our window. If you're there during season, bring binoculars, it's amazing. Also a Monk Seal came and spent the day right in our view. Condo, has high end appliances, did not use stove or oven. It was very clean. Nice new firm couch. Bed was very comforable. Food options close.

This is a beautiful condo in a beautiful location. The lanai was my favorite spot. The bed was comfy, the shower was amazing. Parking was easy everyday. The only fault was the oven didn’t work. But the oven guy showed up to fix it so I’m sure it’s perfect for the next guest. Definitely would stay there again!!

Condo was just like advertised. We were lucky to watch Monk Seals and Whales from the balcony. Will stay here again. The only draw back was that all the blinds didn’t close in the living room. Made for a very warm afternoon. It would of also been a problem had we had to use the pullout couch at night.

The view is just as amazing as it looks in the photos -- we saw whales, sea turtles and the best sunset view on Maui right from the lanai! Stunning! The condo was well-appointed and comfortable -- especially loved the rain-shower shower head -- and the check-in/check-out process was a breeze. There is a food truck area just in front of the resort area here that offers a great variety of good, quick food, plus the shopping center across the street, which has groceries as well as a variety of restaurants -- very convenient! The complex is well kept up but relaxed, easy to hang out by the pool/beach. The only place for improvement would be that the sofa bed mattress is pretty basic. Fine for kids, but not really for an adult (and definitely not 2 adults). We loved our time here and would recommend highly for a couple traveling alone or with 1-2 small kids.

Mahana is quite literally on the beach. This area of the beach isn't super crowded so you don't have much competing with the crystal clear sounds of the ocean. Views are expansive. We could see whales in the distances at all hours of the day and even had a friendly monk seal playing along the beach. Parking was a breeze. Walking distance to a number of restaurants and food trucks, a grocery store, and anything else you could want. Simply put, this place was perfect.

We were looking for a place with a view and beach front and this place did not disappoint!! We would literally sit on the lanai just mesmerized with the waves and whale sightings. It was clean and modern and would definitely return. The location was great as well. Food trucks were very close and we enjoyed more than one meal at Dukes next door. We did. It want to leave!

(Review age 35-40) This place was amazing - modern, renovated, clean, and the best views for whale watching possible. Our parents also stayed in the Mahana, and though they may have paid a little less, their place was very outdated (think 80’s chic) - so it was worth it for us. The views are to die for, and looking down Kaanapali beach, you’ll notice that these condos are closer to the beach/water than any other condo/resort. Definitely recommend renting a car if you plan on day trips to Lahaina, but if you just want to relax on the beach or on the lanai watching whales and honu, or taking a leisurely stroll with you feet in the sand for miles of amazing beachfront with periodic hops to bars for mai tais…this is your place. The amenities are all there, to include wine fridge and rain-shower head. Recommend bringing a portal speaker for music as the only player in the condo is a cd/aux-in player. We will be going back!!

The view from lanai was incredible. Also view from front window was great!!! The condo was great has everything you need . We enjoyed our time there. Yes it’s a little worn in places like carpet tile had some cracks but if you have lots of people using it a lot there are bound to be wear and tear. We enjoyed our time here.

Beautiful condo as pictured. Amazing location w/beautiful views, nice pool, good beaches, and nice bbqs.
Only recommendation would be a few more linens (i.e. sheets, towels, and pillow cases) in the unit.
Had a little communication difficulties w/the property management before we arrived and were trying to find out about the impacts of construction on your lanai/unit (i.e., never received a response w/specifics) but it turned out fine as the construction was on the back of the building.
Would very much recommend the unit and the property overall.

We spent each morning drinking our coffee in front of the windows watching sea turtles in the surf. In the evenings, we’d watch the sunset with a cocktail. Home was cozy and nice to relax in after a day at the beach.
If you want some fresh fish to cook, be sure to check out the Fish Market Maui nearby. The Time Market close by is ok for groceries but not fresh fish. Already looking to come back next year!

Overall great experience. The place was clean for the most part and accurately shown in pictures. I just wish this property wasn’t listed through vacasa. They were hard to work with. I had to reach out and call for check in info a few hours before our check in time because they did not send it to me. View is un beatable and the location is amazing. Definitely satisfied with this condo!

The room was clean and nicely update. The construction of the building didn’t bother us at all. The view of the beach is amazing, you can watch sail boats pass by in the morning while drinking your coffee on the balcony. Definitely recommend this place.

Walking distance to Duke’s, Food trucks and Times shopping center. Pool clean and area well organized. Beach is beautiful but with coral reef so a bit challenging to get in. Property clean, AC runs very well and views are spectacular from every room. Most importantly bed and mattress very comfortable and we slept like babies listen to waves at night with lanai door open.

The property and location are wonderful. The views are absolutely breathtaking. If you walk a little you have direct access to a beautiful sandy beach area. Located directly in front of this location is all coral. Please stay away from that area as many people are getting cut some needed medical attention. This room had everything we needed plus there's a grocery store right across the street. The only negative thing I have to say about this place is the check in was the WORST. The computer wouldn't allow me to sign in saying it didn't recognize my information. I called the number suggested and they were NO help. One of the girls at the front didn't see my reservation, talk about panic attack. So thankfully one of the other girls said as long as I have the code to the door, I can go on in. Didn't see an actual owner contact from this room and the only contact was the website, was probably the only bad thing.

Everything was so easy from checking in and checking out. No issues whatsoever so we could enjoy our time in Hawaii. The property was perfect as well. Everything you need to enjoy time away in paradise was in the room. I cannot forget to mention how beautiful it was the moment you stepped foot on the property and through the doors. The views were amazing and perfect to watch the sunsets from. The bed, so comfortable as well as everything else there! I cannot complain one bit. My favorite was watching the whales on our lanai or in the living room in the comfortable chairs. I would stay here over and over again! It was all so perfect!!

This home and property is so beautiful!! Once you step foot through the doors all you see is floor to ceiling windows with an amazing view!! Everything from check in to check out was made easy so you can enjoy every minute of your time in Hawaii. This home has everything you need while staying here and the bed is so comfortable! Our favorites was the beautiful sunsets you can watch on the beach out front or in the room and watching the whales on the lanai or from the comfortable chairs in the living room. So conveniently located to many restaurants and shops! Everything was perfect and we would stay here over and over again!

Expedia travel in the lobby will explain & book everything. The grilling equipment and pool area is wonderful. The property is lovely! The whale watching is out of this world. The condo had everything we needed. Beach chairs, towels that we took with us everywhere! The view is fenomenol!!! Thank you will definitely stay only there if and when we return to the island!

The very best thing about this apartment is the view from the floor to ceiling windows and the ocean just steps away. Comfortable bed, nice shower, good kitchen, clean, and enjoyable. The A/C could hardly keep up with the heat coming through the windows so plan on keeping those blinds down during the afternoon hours. The community pool and hot tub are super ordinary. The scenic north section of the Ka'anapali boardwalk is just steps away and you can walk for miles.

What a fantastic condo! From the moment you walk in you will be captured by the incredible views of the ocean! Everything is comfortable and wonderful about this condo! The bed is wonderful, shower is fantastic, the views don’t quit and the location is divine. Loved the food trucks that were just down the road, the grocery store is within walking distance, there is a wonderful restaurant, Dukes, just down the beach. Loved the cooler, beach towels and boogie board available for great picnics. Thank you for such a fantastic place to stay!

We loved the condo the moment we stepped into it. The view is gorgeous, of course, but the furnishings were very clean and comfortable. In fact, one of the more comfortable beds and pillows we've had on vacation. We had a slow drain in the bathroom sink, but the plumber came very quickly when reported. It's perfect for a couple.

The Mahana is beautiful and very quiet which was just what we wanted since it was our trip together without kids! We watched sea turtles off the lanai each morning. There are beautiful snorkeling beaches and great restaurants nearby. I would absolutely stay here again!

My family really enjoyed our stay in this condo - the view is amazing! The bed was really comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything you need, and they provided 4 beach towels to take to the pool or beach. I could tell that the kitchen and bathroom had been updated and the rainfall shower was so relaxing! And of course, I loved the fact that this unit has a washer and dryer.
Overall, the condo was really great, updated, clean, comfortable, fully-stocked, and has an outstanding view. Would highly recommend.

The view is spectacular! We loved the lanai and spent most of our time there. The breeze and sound of the waves was an immediate stress relief. The 314 is the perfect elevation for the palm trees. Everything was in great shape, wonderfully decorated and the rain shower, shower head in the large walk in shower was really appreciated.

Mahana #314 was incredible. The views were more beautiful than the pictures and the condo was perfect - clean, updated and lovely. The location gave us lots of privacy but was within an easy walk to Whalers Village and restaurants. The management company was professional and checked in to make sure we had what we needed. Amazing views of the ocean from bedroom, lanai, and living room. Very spacious for a couple, large king size bed, and small stackable washer and dryer. Kitchen plates, cups, utensils, and pots/pans are all there for light to medium cooking. Appreciated the towels and beach towels as well. Unit is privately owned and appears recently renovated and clean upon arrival. Although property is next to the water, it still gets hot in Maui so we enjoyed the cool A/C inside. Property is as close as you can get to the ocean. Plenty of unassigned parking.
Downside is that area directly in front of property is very rocky and not suitable for swimming. You will need to walk south along the beach to find a more sandy beach area. There is a nice paved pathway setup from Mahana all the way down the other properties. Other properties down the path have more of a resort feel with hotel type restaurants and fancy pools. Overall great stay but be aware this is not a fancy resort with a spa/bell boy/bars/valet etc, there is a concierge next to the front desk for booking excursions.

We were very pleased with Mahana 314! The sunsets from our room were spectacular and the unit was clean with nice furnishings. The king size bed was very comfortable, which is a big plus in any condo. We had stayed at the Mahana before, but in a studio, and the extra space in a one bedroom is so much nicer. We would definitely stay here again!

We just spent 9 days in paradise! I was so thrilled when I entered the condo initially and that feeling never left. I have taken so many perfect photos just sitting on the lanai it's rediculous! The size and layout was great for my husband and myself. The furnishings are beautiful and the amenities are top notch! We enjoyed the condo so much and were sad to leave. We will definitely be coming back!

The view is excellent, I can't say how much we enjoyed staying in the property. It is close to great food, shopping and activities in Lahaina.
Snorkelling with turtles at all the local snorkel sites and also the beach right in front of the poperty was fantastic.

While there's not much beach right outside the property (and very rocky), the views are incredible just the like the pictures. Nice location and easy access to Kaanapali, Kaplua and Lahaina.

I think when people go to Hawaii they want to get a condo with a great view of the ocean. Well, look no further. This condo is everything it says it is and more. Pictures can't describe the view you get from your lanai. The condo was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed in it including spices. Highly recommend this condo. You won't be disappointed!!

This is the most beautiful condo we have stayed in and we have been to Maui several times. It's even better than the pictures. Once you open the door and the view hits you in the face you know your in paradise. It is equipped with everything to make you vacation a memorable time. Can't wait to stay again. We stayed at this condo for the first time to celebrate our ten year anniversary. We also hoped to see whales on the balcony and boy did we see them. The pictures represent exactly what the condo looks like. It was extremely clean and the added amenities of the ice coolers for travel, ground coffee and spices provided a nice welcome touch to the stay. We are already making plans for a return visit!

The views are spectacular. The condo is very clean and the furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. The beach chairs and beach towels at the condo were very much appreciated. The property managers were very good to deal with . Absolutely no complaints at all. "Can't wait to go back again."

This was our third visit to the Mahana property. Our unit had outstanding amenities that were provided free of charge. We did a lot of cooking and having the necessary spices, foil, saran wrap and baggies saved us from having to buy them just for a 9 day stay. We also really enjoyed the "pay it forward" bottle of wine that we opened as soon as we walked into the condo after a looonnnggg trip from Florida. That was very much appreciated. It was special to be able to eat all our meals on the lanai. Such a gorgeous view is why I love to stay at this property. The furnishings were superb and I appreciate the effort made by the owners to make their unit one of the best available in the one bedroom Mahana category. I would certainly recommend this unit and give it 5 stars!
We enjoyed a few dinners at Dukes, but would also highly recommend the Fish Market just down the street from the Times grocery. You can buy gourmet "carry-out" dinners prepared by a former chef at Mama's Fish house. The quality of the food is excellent and you can't beat eating out on the lanai with a nice bottle of wine and candles. Truly a special experience.

The condo was exactly as pictured on the web page. We were not disappointed, and the view was outstanding. It was well appointed with everything we could want. Appreciated the beach towels and chairs. We liked the location for walking to restaurants and shopping at Whaler's Village. When too tired to walk back we took the free trolley. Duke's Restaurant is right next door and has a good happy hour. Also Times Market is across the street and good place to buy groceries. We loved eating on the lanai. We're returning next year.

The Condo was exactly as described, beautifully furnished and with a wonderful view of he ocean.
We found that the snorkelling at Airport beach and Kapalu Bay was excellent and safe. We naturally enjoyed Dukes but found that "the best bang for your buck" was at the Brew Pub located in a small shopping centre about a mile down the highway. Times was an excellent place to buy your groceries. We would definitely recommend This condo to friends and family, although we do prefer to rent directly from the owner rather than through a rental agency.
