At Sugar Beach Resort, the draw is the long North Kihei shoreline outside the complex, perfect for a walk, sunning, or a day by the water. Getting around:
Kahului Airport (OGG) is about 20 to 30 minutes from Kihei. A rental car is recommended to enjoy the beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along Maui's south shore. Some areas near South Kihei Road are walkable for dining and shopping, and beaches may be close by. Parking is typically available at properties, in lots, or along nearby streets, depending on the location.

We recently stayed at this unit at Sugar Beach and had a lovely experience. The space was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made it feel comfortable right away. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and the living area was cozy — the couch was especially comfortable for relaxing in the evenings. The bed was also very comfortable, and we slept great throughout our stay.Being on the ground floor made the unit easily accessible, which was especially convenient for coming and going throughout the day. While the ocean view is limited, you still get a nice glimpse and the overall setting more than makes up for it.Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable visit, and we would happily stay here again

Our family of 4 loved our stay at Sugar Beach. We have stayed in a few different units but this was by far our favorite. The location to the pool is great as well as the unit had everything we needed. We will be back! Thank you

Beautiful unit. Well decorated. It was everything pictures showed. Beautiful property & well taken care of. This unit is on 1st floor & walking out from lanai was literally steps to the pool & about 30 steps to the beach. Office staff were terrific. Property staff were very considerate. Beach is quiet. Beautiful sunsets. The 1st day we walked 3 miles along the beach to Maalaea Harbor & back. Loved Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice which is close by. Lots to do in Maui. We hiked down Haleakala Crater & stayed for the Beautiful sunset. Took in a sunset dinner cruise & a snorkel trip to Molokini Crater & we were very lucky to see a humpback whale & calf (so late in whale watching season). We highly recommend Sugar Beach Resort.
