This is a great, centrally located condo that allowed us to explore different parts of the island each day. Close to the airport, restaurants and grocery stores. With the ocean breezes and windows open, it was cool enough where we didn’t need to use the AC in the bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and we watched the sunrise on the lanai with a nice ocean view. The beach toys, booster seat, and collapsible wagon in the lanai closet were a nice touch for our trip with 2 young children. The wagon was especially great for the beach and really anywhere in Kauai – life saver! Surprisingly, the pull-out sofa was probably one of the most comfortable pull out beds we’ve been on. We enjoyed the variety of pools and hot tubs at Kauai Beach Resort and our kids had a blast swimming every day, especially the pools and bar overlooking the beach. The beach is too shallow and rocky for swimming, but we stopped by for sunrises and sunsets – a 5 minute walk! There is a little rock wall that was great to protect the kids from waves so the kids were able to play in the sand and wade in the water. Overall the condo and resort were a great fit for our young family and we really enjoyed our time here.
