This property is only 60% rental units, so it is much less hectic than other places we have stayed. The building is one of the older resorts, but has been well maintained. The age was obvious in our ground floor unit, but it was meticulously clean, and all appliances worked well, although we didn’t bother with the dishwasher. The patio was my favorite spot. Only about two blocks away, along the same quiet street, was Haycroft Beach, a lovely sandy beach for swimming and wading. Also within walking distance was the Maui Ocean Center, Ma’alea Harbor and several shops including Tante’s where we had dinner, and a cookie/icecream shop where we bought treats twice. Would definitely stay again.
