The place itself is wonderful and you feel the care and thought they have put into every detail. I really loved so much about this place. They have some cute Hawaiin baby board books and some on Hawaiin plants and supernatural books on curses that have happened on the Islands, spoiler: don’t take any rocks with you off the island. 😉 It is well set up for families too. That said, come prepared to be in the rainforest. It rained the entire time we were there, and the internet was spotty at best. On top of that, I had no cell reception so you really feel in the middle of the jungle with no connection to the outside world which can be a blessing but is not for everyone. It seems to be surrounded by a bunch of private properties that have a lot of warning signs like, “No trespassing” Beware of Dogs”, which I totally get but adds to the intimidation of the place. Also, know that there aren’t any grocery stores nearby so you should stock up before you come or plan accordingly. They did have some very yummy coffee for us. If I wanted a place to write a novel, this would be the perfect place.
