This unit is really lovely. The lanai has a beautiful view. I loved seeing the newlyweds getting photographed everynight at the resort right next to complex! We climbed the rocks all around the surrounding property, took a lovely walk to the beach every morning there are paved trails everywhere. One morning while snorkeling at Poipu beach I ended up right next to a pretty monk seal. She ended up staying with us for about 30 minutes. We stayed for 15 days and I was able to snorkel almost everyday, we walked everyday, went on 3 beautiful hikes, went on the funniest ATV TOUR and relaxed a lot! I cooked quite a bit and the kitchen had everything, the grill is literally 3 minutes away at the pool and situated very nicely. The bedroom is next to the road but honestly with ceiling fan on we were only slightly bothered by the road noise. The bathroom was lovely…really! I found a small local market in the old town Sueoka Store, they have everything in small sizes fresh veggies, fruit..just loved it. The family that run it have been around forever. I rented beach chairs and snorkeling gear from local family right around the corner at KIMOS–they were also wonderful, they have bikes and boards too. You can return items even when they are closed! I had one issue and was able to speak to the owner and he was able to assist very quickly. We have been to Maui 7 times this was our first trip to Kauai and it was beyond beautiful. Every restaurant we went to were recommended by previous visitors and they were all very good. Be sure to read the 2 journals were visitors have left thank you’s there is a ton of information in them. Can’t wait to return and feel very lucky to have found this unit. PS..we had no problems with sticky floors at all and we were able to keep a cool breeze running through the unit with no problem.
