The accommodations were wonderful. The location is the best on Kauai. The lanai provided great views and outdoor comfort. The updated kitchen and utensils were very nice. The proximity to the Grand Hyatt resort, walking paths to multiple beaches, clifftop ocean vistas, the lovely and beautifully maintained grounds including the pool, tennis courts and BBQ grills, all added to the convenience and value. This was our third trip to Kauai and we never tire of enjoying the Poipu area and Shipwreck Beach in particular. It is easy to drive to the many other attractions to be found on Kauai, but it is great to be able to take a short walk to an assortment of places one can easily spend multiple days enjoying over and over. We think the Poipu Sands condo complex is the best situated of all the units we have looked at, online as well as in person. If you are looking for a comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated one bedroom condominium, in a great location, with great views and within minutes walking distance to spectacular ocean beaches and cliffs, and owners who treat you like family, you’ve found the right property here. We highly recommend this unit, as is. It was a joy to stay there.
