We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sugar Beach Resort #316. This was our sixth or seventh stay at Sugar Beach Resort and I would rate #316 as one of the nicer / more updated units that we have stayed in. The kitchen area seemed to be pretty recently updated and was well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. It was an added bonus that the condo also had two beach chairs and a beach umbrella that was available to use, which saved us from having to rent these items for our stay. The view from #316 was amazing and you really can’t get much closer to the beach than this location.
As far as the area, in our opinion, Sugar Beach Resort is located in a wonderful area. It has a nice, sandy beach to walk along, that is not very busy at all. It is also easy walking distance to both Sugar Beach Bake Shop and Ulalani’s shaved ice. In addition, most mornings you can sit on your lanai and watch the Kihei Canoe Club paddle their canoes right outside your condo.
