We really enjoyed the Pahoa oceanfront house as a balance to our trip after spending 6 days in Kona. It was great to be in a more local area of the island – we found multiple very interesting hikes, many with small quaint beaches as part of them in the area using our “All trails” app. Kaleo’s local restaurant is fine dining in a small town. The house is beautiful and very well maintained, can’t get closer to the ocean and in a quaint neighborhood. There is a small grocery store in Pahoa 8 miles away. Close to Volcano National Park. Melissa is a wealth of knowledge and Carolyn provides you with an itinerary she uses with her friends and family for sightseeing in the area. Very positive experience.
