The house was located in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the enchanting ocean. The furnishings were comfortable and the house very clean. It was well equipped with cooking needs, and had many extra supplies such as spices, cooking oil, plastic wrap, coolers, etc.
Upon our arrival, Melissa greeted us and went over the house etiquette. She provided us with maps and local insight about the area, sights to see, and how to access various points of interest. One of the best insights she provided was about the new local trail over the recent lava flows. We would never have known it was there, and the hike turned out to be one of the highlights of our!
The location of the house was near many restaurants and stores, including a grocery store. It was very peaceful to hear the ocean waves crashing over the rocks. Games and other amenities (beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. were provided for our enjoyment?
This house was a great place and did not disappoint us!
