Very clean home on the ocean outside of Pāhoa. Both Carolyn, the owner, and Melissa, the property manager, were great to work with and very responsive. We spent 4 nights in this location as a base point to explore the Hilo side of Hawai’i with a focus on Volcanoes National Park. Driving time the the NP was close to 60 minutes, to Hilo about 30. Very nice grocery store in Pāhoa and did enjoy a great meal at Kaleo’s in Pāhoa. Close the the 2018 lava flows if exploring that area is an interest. Nice to have a secure garage to park in and found the master bedroom bed to be very comfortable. All in all, a good stay!
