We recently stayed at this property and were captivated by its location, arguably one of the best on the island. The deck offers incredible views, and the beach is within walking distance, making it a dream destination for nature lovers.
However, our experience was marred by a few issues that need attention:
Mosquitoes in the Master Bedroom: Despite all windows and the sliding door having bug screens, we faced a nightly battle with mosquitoes that disrupted our sleep. The issue seems to stem from the screen door lacking a side bug seal, allowing mosquitoes to enter when the patio door is open.
Microwave Condition: The kitchen is generally well-stocked, but the microwave is in dire need of replacement. It’s outdated and barely functional, a concern that has been raised by previous guests as well. This seems like a simple and inexpensive fix that would significantly improve the guest experience.
Misleading Listing Regarding Washer: The listing indicates that a clothes washer is available, but we were informed post-booking that it was not. This was particularly disappointing as the availability of a washer was one of the reasons we chose this property.
While the location and views are undeniably stunning, these issues did impact the overall quality of our stay. We hope the management takes note and addresses these concerns for future guests.
Having said all that, I would consider going back.
