This place far exceeded our expectations! It was clean, recently renovated and the view was spectacular! We were hesitant to book with a property management company over an individual owner (especially after having read Vacasa reviews), but we have zero complaints – the communication was effective, self check-in was easy and the place was as it was described.
The property itself was well-maintained and clean, and this unit was close to a parking spot and easy walking to the pool area. A car is likely necessary since there’s not many things in walking distance (you could rent bikes), but the hideaways beach path is within walking distance. Note: the beach access on the property is not hideaways, but rather a smaller beach that has a lot of lava rocks – we enjoyed watching the crab and other small fish in the tide pools, but didn’t swim here.
Disclaimer: our stay was in December 2022 and the downstairs unit below this one was being renovated – we did hear construction noise, but only during normal hours.
