A lot of research was done on Kona prior to our visit and we determined that we would be spending most of our time in the South/East part of the island with a few excursions out of Kona itself. We were two couples so this property was perfect. We loved this place the second we walked in; it was spacious, well maintained, had everything you could possibly want or need. The beds were comfortable, the linen on the bedding was like a hug after a long day of hiking and sightseeing after a nice glass of wine on the lanai of course. We also made use of the lanai in the morning for coffee. With two separate bedroom/bathroom areas for each couple we all enjoyed our personal space when needed and came together in the common areas for meals and company.
