We have been coming to Kauai for over 40 years so we know the island well and know what constitutes an superb vacation rental versus and average one. Hale Ontario is one of the top places we have ever stayed. This home is tucked away on a quiet street in Princeville and commands one of the most spectacular views in the area. The morning and evening ocean and Bali Hai panaromas through the massive windows are truly inspiring. It is located within minutes to grocery shopping, Hanalei town and beach and is walking distance to Queens Bath. We enjoyed evening strolls under the stars right in front of the house down to the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The home itself was immaculate with pletnty of room for our family to spread out. The large family room and kitchen (very well stocked with everything we needed) was great as we gathered for meals. There is a two car garage with bikes and beach gear. There are many homes in Princeville that have not endured well. This home is not one of them. The owners have kept it in excellent condition with everything appearing new and functional. We love Princeville and Hanalei and would come back to Hale Ontario again without hesitation. We would also like to put in a plug for Bali Hai Real Estate Company. This is the group that manages the property. They were awesome! We always arrive late in the evening and their help getting us settled has always been unparalleled. They have an easy to use App and they are personally available to answer questions and solve problems. They are good people sincerely concerned that your needs are met and your stay is memorable. We also really like the fact that they are local and have been here for many years. Some management companies are based far away and deal with problems through disinterested subcontractors. Bali Hai people live here and they are devoted to the community. Thanks for a great trip!
