While remote location, this house was really cool, spacious and lovely views from the lanai. Short walk to the cliffs overlooking the ocean and great spot to watch the sunrises on the lava. Well stocked kitchen and soft beds. Master suite is amazing, and the outdoor shower for the downstairs bedrooms was certainly invigorating…quite chilly air in the morning but nice hot water! Pretty easy to find location, but glad we did it in the daytime the first day- it seems like you drive forever down a hilly street with no lighting. We never found the guestbook to sign, but would have said thank you- we enjoyed our stay! One suggestion-light on exterior door would have been helpful to retrieve the key from lockbox each night…it was a little finicky to maneuver in the dark.
