We stayed here for our second week in January. The house sits on the main street of Hanalei and the rear lanai faces the mountains to the south and the numerous waterfalls that give the house its name. The house is huge and could easily accommodate two couples or a large family. The main bedrooms are on the 1st floor and the kitchen and dining areas and a third bedroom are on the 2nd fl. The bright and airy house was fully equipped and beautifully decorated in the craftsman style. Despite the sometimes heavy traffic, which we tuned out, it was an excellent base (can walk to Hanalei Bay) to get out and explore the sights on this beautiful island. I can’t vouch for the phrase that “Kauai heals everything” but it sure helped! Highly recommended.
