We really enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach. The condo was recently updated, comfortable and well-stocked (had everything you’d need for eating and cooking meals as well as extras like tupperwear, foil, bag clips, and things like that). The condo also had 2 smart tvs (in case you were wondering–I asked beforehand but VaCasa didn’t know). Lots of towels, good a/c and beach chairs, etc for the beach. On top of that, the lanai was wonderful: there was a great view of the ocean (we could even hear the waves from inside the condo!!). The one complaint was that the wifi was really slow (but do you go to Hawaii to spend it on your devices? Of course not!!).
The resort itself was nice. We especially liked the lawn area with lounge chairs to relax in, right in front of the beach. This stretch of Sugar Beach is great for walking up and down the beach, especially at low tide. Please note: the beach can be windy at times, but still pleasant to be on even then.
