We stayed ten days here and would gladly come back again. The kitchen is well stocked. It could use a few of the tupperware like containers for left overs. We are small eaters and always seemed to have some leftover food for lunch the next day. We made do with some baggies we got at the grocery store so not a biggie. The grill outside worked great and we grilled most dinners. The place is quiet as the building says quiet after 9 pm. The condo is decorated with impeccable taste and is warm and inviting. We went to Hilo for the day and there wasn’t much there except for the zip lining. We loved Kona and the great food at the Pineapple restaurant. We would suggest you get most groceries at Walmart or Costco in Kona as the prices are the same as US. The general Store at the King mall is also good for last minute things. The other small stores can give you sticker shock but the locals get a discount of about 30% from the sticker prices which helps them. We loved the grounds at the Hilton and walked there every day until we had seen the whole facility. We attended the Luah at the Marriott in Kona and it truly was the best luah I had been too. The one at the Hilton would probably have been fine but seemed a little tame by comparison. Listening to singers at the Tropics bar right outside the gate was fun and they had great bar food. This is the best condo I have rented world wide. It is really a 10 on a scale of 1 to 5.
