My wife and I recently completed a 7 night stay at the Mahana, Room #618, and it was a wonderful experience! The listing description of the unit is very accurate with regards to the location, layout, and amenities. You are truly “ocean front” as you can literally throw a rock into the ocean from the balcony, it’s that close to the water. The view was spectacular! If you love ocean sunsets you will love this unit. We slept with the sliding glass doors open every night to enjoy the sounds of the waves below. The entire facility was very clean and well-maintained. There were absolutely no issues with the self check-in upon our arrival.
Lahania is a perfect location for all island activities. It really doesn’t t take very long to get to just about anywhere on Maui. During our stay we participated in scuba diving and snorkeling; the sunrise Haleakala bicycle ride; parasailing, ziplining; and eating a several of the areas fantastic restaurants. I would highly recommend this property to anyone choosing to stay on Maui.
