Very happy that we chose to stay here. Location was ideal for us a it`s on a dead road that`s not nearly as busy as others in the area. Morning walks were great, sunsets from the lawn even better. The ocean is just feet away and the sounds of waves crashing on the rocks never gets old. Lots of surfers, very entertaining. Good beaches an easy walk away. We loved it here and I went 5 stars, but of course no rental is perfect. Shower is great, but bathroom a bit tight with smallish vanity. We have separate bathrooms at home and are used to lots of space, so no room to complain. A/C was appreciated on warmer afternoons, but there`s a condensation pump in the BR closet that cycles loudly followed by a wild gurgling noise that woke us a few times. I put one of the spare pillows over it and never though about it again. Kitchen was well equipped and very functional, but dimly lit. I think there was a bulb out in the ceiling fixture. We were out and on the go every day, so no biggie. We loved our time here and this was ideal. Great communication from our hosts and some nice goodies on arrival. Loved the Hawaiian chips. Ordered a huge box as soon as we returned home. Thanks for having us, we are now huge fans of Kauai and will be back!
