When we walked in the door all we could see was ocean – it is such a peaceful setting. The unit was so beautiful and had everything we needed, and the owner was great to work with. We had stayed in this unit last year, and the updates the new owner made are amazing, and really set this unit off from the others! We love the quietness of the resort and the location is perfect for what we like to do on island, if staying near by or going to North Shore. Passion Bakery across the street is great for morning coffee or a quick treat before heading out in the morning. We love hearing the waves at night, and spending some peaceful time on the lanai. The trade winds keep the unit nice and cool. We frequently visit Kauai, and we will continue to come back to Kapaa Sands Unit 9!
