The house and the location are great for a much needed getaway. There is plenty of space and the basement offers great entertainment for everyone. They home owner was very responsive when we had questions. The first night the power went out several times for multiple hours which was worrisome with fridges full of food for our long stay. I guess this is a normal occurrence and everything was fine. It did get very hot one of the days we were there it was pretty uncomfortable upstairs inside but the basement offered a cooler location to hang out while the heat of the day passed. The home owner had tons of kitchen stuff for the kids (bowls,plates etc.) which was awesome we all brought our stuff from home but didn’t need to. The kitchen was organized and we appreciated the labels on the cabinets. The lake right across the road was great! Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
