We wanted a quick island hop to see the volcano, and we were so happy to find a great space for our family at a great price. The two separate bedrooms with en suites was a great setup for extended family. It wasn’t ideal for our family traveling with mom, three kids 6 and younger and grandma, but the kids enjoyed “camping out” in the main spaces of the house. I missed the part of the description that had the two bedrooms across a breezeway. Overall, the house was great and location beautiful with tons of flora to take in on a walk. We were also able to easily get to the volcano without having to navigate crowds. We arrived too late at Hilo Intel to get groceries, which is really required for most Hilo stays, but there are a few local options for food if you are a savvy Google pro.
