We totally loved it here. My family – which included young children – had the best time ever! It was exactly as described – but better! I cannot think of a single negative (and I’m fairly fussy).
It is right down on the bay and we were able to kayak out amongst the dolphins, snorkel, and play on the small beach just next to the house. The owner provides kayaks and life jackets, as well as snorkel equipment, boards and some beach toys. We spent some afternoons visiting beaches in the area recommended in the guidebook, but then discovered a beach a five minute drive long the bay which was quieter and much nicer than all the others. We were all able to snorkel from there and the kids did some body boarding. You could even surf if you had any experience. You could walk to it but we didn’t want to with the little legs in our group and all the beach toys we were carting around!
The house is well located for everything. There is a big grocery store on the main road, as well as coffee shops and some cafes, restaurants and even an ice cream place! Everything is a drive away so you will need a car, but that wasn’t a hassle for us at all. It’s about a 30 minute drive from the airport.
The inside of the house was good too – decent bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. From the balcony you can see whales and dolphins and you can hear and see the sea from every room. The owner of the property was very friendly and helpful.
We’ve stayed in a lot of vrbo’s, and this rates top of the list. We didn’t want to leave! The location is amazing and the house was exactly what we had hoped for. Thanks for letting us stay – we would love to come back again!
