We stayed at Kuhio Shores #208 for 4 nights and had an excellent stay, perfect for 2 of us. The photos represent the property well. The view from the lanai is beautiful and you can watch turtles surfing the waves below. Go around the building to view the beautiful sunsets. The booking process was easy and all communication (emails, texts, phone calls) with the property management company before and during our trip was helpful and efficient. The property location was great — easy to get to/from the airport and good for a home base to tour the rest of the island. Loved being right on the water (listening to the waves lull you to sleep!), with a short walk away to Lawai Beach (beside the Beach House Restaurant) which had the best snorkeling of the beaches we visited ~ felt like we were in an aquarium! Appreciated the use of beach chairs, cooler and other beach gear in the unit as well as the laundry facilities in the building. The kitchen was well-equipped and the ‘start up’ supplies for kitchen, bathroom and laundry mean you don’t have to bring your own for a short stay. The weather was in the 80’s (F) and we did not have a problem with the unit being too hot — it was comfortable with the windows open for the ocean breeze and we used the fans supplied only as needed. A must-see for scenery is a drive to Waimea Canyon and the lookouts at the end of the road. We also went on an afternoon boat cruise to see the Na Pali coast with Holo Holo Charters — stunning! Highly recommend staying here to relax and soak in the Aloha spirit!
