The villa was a short distance from the airport, and was an easy spot to go exploring in any direction (north, south or west). We couldn’t check in until 4pm, but that was no consequence since we arrived after 3pm, waited for luggage and then waited for our app vehicle to arrive. When we arrived, I hadn’t downloaded the app yet, so do that as soon as you can. It was a little confusing as to the gate combo number, but we soon figured it out with the friendly staff, you have to include the # as part of the combo. The villa was clean, although it had a slight musty odor, probably from no one being there and all the humidity not circulating. It was well stocked for our purposes. We used the beach towels, bug spray, laundry facilities, cooked a couple meals, and was even surprised they had the slender ice cubes for our water bottle that we brought for the beaches and hikes. I did notice that the villa was ANT FREE, which was a relief. All the other beach homes have had ant problems that I’ve grown to expect, sad to say. The complex has a nice beach and a small lagoon, but we didn’t swim there. We were exploring each day with GPS tours that took us to other beaches hidden away, so we came back not wanting to sit on the beach, but ready to relax and plan the next day. We could hear people talk as they went up the stairs outside our villa, sometimes chairs move across the floor in another villa, but rarely heard other people around us. The complex was quiet and restful, never any loud music or parties taking place. We would consider this residence again in the future. Thank you for hosting our family.
