We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay. We watched the sunrise each morning sitting on the lanai. We were treated to spinner dolphins the first morning!
Loved waking to bird song and the sound of surf.
The drive into Hilo took 30-40 minutes depending on traffic (try to avoid rush hour if you are here during the week). The house was clean, well maintained and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. (We shopped for groceries at the KTA in Hilo).
Multiple fans and large screened windows kept us cool.
There were just two of us, but the house would comfortably accommodate 6.
We have always loved Hilo, still do even more, and hope to return soon.
